gort7078 and the Tuaregs defeated mh5064 St Johns 48-63 in a division 3 match! It was a great battle with the St Johns in control of the battle! But a domino effect fractured the St Johns left flank and enabled a hard fought Tuareg victory! Great game mh5064! Good Luck!

Division B
Captain Savage Pyrrhic 280-275 with Samnite allies defeats rexhurley Skythian 300BC - 50AD
58:33
The brave Pyrrhic forces tried to hide from the Skythian land pirates behind some hills and deep in some forests. But as the Skythians came rapidly closer it became apparent that there was not enough hiding room for everyone. Some brave/foolish troops were left to fend for themselves but the remaining troops could not stand by and watch them be shot to death. Much like a cornered beast with no hope the Pyrrhic forces burst out of the forest and tried to chase down the horse archers. Much to everyone's surprise they managed to catch them in large numbers. It seemed the Skythians were not feeling very brave and their morale broke at every opportunity. I had all the luck on this one.

Classical Division C
principesromanes (Hebrew 681-586 BC with Kushite Egyptian 727-656 BC allies) defeats alexmike1 (Skythian or Saka 550-301 BC with Greek 460-281 BC allies) 42-17
The Skythians were waiting for the Hebrew army on a ridge line, with a forest on one side and an impassible river on the other. The Hebrew army planned to riddle the Greek allies holding the ridge with arrows. The Skythians had their own arrows to contribute to the fight, and a horde of mounted archers emerged from the woods to wrap around the Hebrew flank – the hammer to the Greek hoplite anvil holding the ridge. The only thing standing in the horsemen’s way were a few light foot, a few massed bowmen and a few opposing cavalry. And a large patch of rough ground. The Hebrew screening force was able to delay and even drive off some of the flanking hordes of horsemen long enough to pick apart the Greek infantry holding the ridgeline.
Thanks for the game!

Classical Division C
principesromanes (Hebrew 681-586 BC with Kushite Egyptian 727-656 BC allies) defeats Bagatrix1806 (Seleucid 166-125 BC with Parthian 250 BC – 225 AD allies) 64-49
The Seleucid army arranged itself facing a wide, open plain. Unfortunately, the Hebrew army chose to approach through the woods (how the chariots pathed through the woods to their deployment remains a mystery) and rushed for a gentle hill with some rough patches to hinder the Seleucid heavy foot. Both armies made contact in a rather disorganised manner, which resulted in some awkward face-offs for both the Hebrew chariots and the Seleucid phalanx. While plenty of missiles rained down across the battle field, the key moment was when the Hebrew chariots engaged the repositioning Seleucid cataphracts. While a Seleucid irregular foot took out a chariot in the opening stage of the engagement, the remaining chariots ultimately got the better of the chataphracts due to the help of some Hebrew cavalry and, in particular, a unit of camels. With their flanks now exposed, there was little the imitation legionaries could do to capitalize on their earlier success grinding through the Hebrew foot and massed bowmen.
This was a very close and scrappy battle throughout. Thanks for the game!

Shout to Asterix! Only one game, but the lowest ranked player leads the table on average points, and has handed the points leader his only loss. Kia kaha (google it).

Morat Neapolitan 1443-1500 with Venetian beat GraftMalt Germany (Imperial) 14488-1500: 53-19
Pretty fearsome German infantry centre threatened all sorts of problems, but the Neapolitans managed to do some damage with the mediums and lights, and critically get round both flanks. but this was a much closer match than the score suggests.
Thanks to GraftMalt for the game.
