Open ground in the centre and left with large hills and woods on the right. Breton horse archers, supported by lancers and medium foot, advanced on the Scots-Irish defending a shallow hill line. The Scots-Irish had brought a lot of chariots and these advanced, supported by infantry , to overwhelm the Breton forces in the centre by sheer weight of numbers. The fight on the Scots-Irish right was much more even as the Bretons used their skirmishers to devastating effect and had good numbers of medium troops who could advance off high ground into the melee in the rough ground between deployment area. As the Scots-Irish, victorious in the centre, moved to help their troops battling for the rough, once again their numbers proved too much. GG.
The horde of Scots-Irish infantry were able to pick off some isolated Breton infantry in the forests before the big clash. Once the melee started, the superior Scots-Irish infantry proved their worth.

In the mirror my Beja conventionally deployed foot in the centre with mounted troops on both wings. Karvon almost always has a surprise to pull and here he deployed hard on the Nubian right. With light troops and mounted on the extreme flank and Nubian foot hidden in and behind the forest.
I initially withdrew on my left while bringing the centre and right flank across the battlefield. After long marching I sent my left flank forward again and timed it reasonably well to bring Beja foot in to catch the Nubians inside of an L shaped attack. Although the Beja largely defeated our left flank we decisively in the centre again.
(first screenshot taken from the Beja side of the battle)
Battlefield had a small lake with some enclosures and a large plateaus to the Nubian left and a forest on our far right flank. The Nubians deployed on the hill, while the Beja attempted to grand outflanking manoeuvres (a feinted withdrawal first on our left). Both eventually hit home and were broadly victorious, but while camelry were pursuing far into the distance the Nubians won decisively against Beja foot in the centre.
(second screenshot shows this battle with Nubian fighting from left to right)
Beja v Christian Nubian was an excellent, well balanced matchup. As an aside Nubian Raw, Medium Foot Defensive Spearmen are excellent value at 24 points.

Drudgep as the Scots defeats Chris Townsend as the French in an epic battle that came down to the wire on a rough mega hill. Final score 61-54 in favor of the Scots.
Thanks for the games Chris! Chris should be reporting the other game.
In this version of Scots v. French, the French wisely conceded the mega rough hill during deployment, and concentrated on using their superior cavalry to successfully open up the other flank. However, the Pictish spearmen successfully force marched from their starting position opposite the hill in time to decisively win the infantry battle in the central plain, causing the whole map to pivot, with the French infantry defending a more open hill on the other flank, and the cavalry struggling to return from their happy pursuits. In the end, the Scottsih infantry won the day:
Chris Townsend's Scots 51 to Drudgep's French 24. Good game!
Learning for the French - the Scots make batter allies than enemies
