However, I have no explanation for those supply hexes not working properlyAndrea69 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2024 2:29 pm Changelog
AO 1946 Amerika Changelog
...
After landed the first wave (the number of landing crafts back to 30), and captured two supply hexes "Fort Miley" and "Fort Funston", I couldn't deploy the remaining units, not on sea or around the supply hexes. I remember in the Vanille, that could be done. Is this intended?

Re: AOredone, for none steam users
The Fallschirmjäger also seems unable at the deployment phase in Battle of San Fransico, which I remember worked in Vanilla.
Now,
Operation Bellerophon (North route), the purchase hero could not work, and an error message was in the background but couldn't be read due to the message about Rattle. While Operatino Teufel (Souh route) there is no such problem.

Re: AOredone, for none steam users
Hello, please have a look at the AO Amerika campaign notes at page 1 of this thread. The North route is not supported by this mod (first line of the post: "Heavy map editing/polishing/naming for all scenarios (Northern path excluded, Texas Route included")gadflyjs wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2025 5:33 pm The Fallschirmjäger also seems unable at the deployment phase in Battle of San Fransico, which I remember worked in Vanilla.

Ok, didn't see it.
Is the north route going to be modded in the future then?

Re: AOredone, for none steam users
Starting the newest AO39 and see I need to apply this fix. I looked inside my Panzer Corps 2 files and didn't see it. What is the usual path to find/replace it? Thanks.
Re: AOredone, for none steam users
Well, assuming that you are playing the no-steam version the path should be C:\Users\W7Pro\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps 2\Mods\AOredone\Campaigns\AO1939\09BrestLitovsk
If you have the steam version the path should be C:\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1072040\3086304953\Campaigns\AO1939\09BrestLitovsk (don't know if the 3086304953 directory is the same for everyone but you can easily check it)
Re: AOredone, for none steam users
Thank you. Is this a replacement file or an addition? I have the non-steam version. At that location, I see lua, map, pz2brp and pz2scn files, but no rar.Andrea69 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 1:46 amWell, assuming that you are playing the no-steam version the path should be C:\Users\W7Pro\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps 2\Mods\AOredone\Campaigns\AO1939\09BrestLitovsk

Ah. I get it now. Thanks for relieving me of my ignorance.
Re: AOredone, for none steam users
Andrea69, in my last post it's a Denmark scenario.
Can you tell me which graphics card you have?
I can't get it to load with my 6GB Nvidia.
I would like to buy a new one at short notice to upgrade. Now I'm wondering whether it will be 8GB or 12GB.
grettings

Re: AOredone, for none steam users
Hello, when releasing AO46 Redone I wrote my idea of "good rig" needed to load/reload with relative ease the biggest maps: i7 latest generations or i9 processor/32 Gb Ram/SSD/GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card or better.
Now, considering that the Denmark map is not that huge, I think that to load it smoothly you need just whatever RTX card (also at least 16 Gb Ram are always welcome)
Re: AOredone, for none steam users
Hi Andrea69,
I just installed both an Nvidia 4060 RTX and an Nvidia 4070 in my board.
With both cards I get the same error message when loading the Denmark scenario as with my old RTX 1660.
Is your graphics card memory too low?
Can you take a look again?
I didn't necessarily want to buy a 1000 euro graphics card.

Hello, your graphics card is pretty ok, out of question... what is exactly the error message you get when loading?raider45 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2025 2:07 pm Hi Andrea69,

Re: AOredone, for none steam users
Hello Andrea69, I reset the graphics quality of the game to high and medium under options (Denmark scenario), so I was able to play through it with the new Nvidia graphics card.
The map is huge, 32 rounds for the bonus unit is very tight, otherwise it falls quite a bit short of the level of balance of the 1939 campaign.
It is certainly true to the original, but wouldn't a smaller scale have done the same?
I don't want to gossip because you are the ones doing the work.
Now I'm looking forward to 1940 and hope to improve the graphics quality of the game again.

You are right, in next versions I am going to scale down it a bitraider45 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2025 2:48 pm Hello Andrea69, I reset the graphics quality of the game to high and medium under options (Denmark scenario), so I was able to play through it with the new Nvidia graphics card.

Re: AOredone, for none steam users
1940, with the changes is not yet available for download?
Re: AOredone, for none steam users
Hello, as AOredone has been updated on steam, I am posting here the update for no-steam users.
In the package you'll find the new AO40 and the updated Portraits folders (just replace the original ones in your Mods/AOredone directory).
You can download it at https://easyupload.io/4640hr (it will be available for a couple of weeks)
