Carnage in the hills with almost the same outcome as the first.

Just as bloody as the mirror match. These two massive pike armies smashed into each other on a suburban plain with the more experienced forces of Ptolemy ultimately winning the fight. Thanks for the great games, rpadilla1988.

Kroche (Mitanni) defeated DIVM (Minoan) 14-40

A very enjoyable battle where Mitanni edged out Minoa by surviving the melees in the centre left and delaying on centre right. Light chariots managed to avoid getting caught. Minoan got their infantry force in a position to put Mitanni under immense pressure, but they did not roll very well in their charges or cohesion checks. Battle ended just as Minoa would have started closing the points gap. GG

Kroche (Minoan) defeats DIVM (Mitanni) 36-60

Another enjoyable tussle. Mitanni were putting the squeeze on with lots of missile fire, but the Minoan spear managed to hold on the left, Minoan centre did succumb to the pressure, but held long enough for the heavy chariots to charge into the massed archers. GG

The situation was critical for a while, but the Viking cavalry supported the infantry just in time.
