Egmont (Wallachian 1330-1399) defeats EdmondDantes (Rus 1380-1469) 24-49

AKvGoeben (Florentine 1440-1500) defeats nyczar (Burgundian 1450-1464) 47-61.

The strong Florentine left flank consisting of mounted Men At Arms and pikemen were eventually able to get to grips with and defeat their Burgundian counterparts whilst the Florentine right consisting mostly of crossbowmen died almost to a men under the Burgundian archery and dismounted Men at Arms. Still, they did their job long enough to secure overall victory, aided by a ludicrously lucky pursuit and charge path from the Florentine Cavalry that rolled up most of the Burgundian right.

AKvGoeben (Burgundian 1450-1464) defeats nyczar (Florentine 1440-1500) 46-63.

A victory again secured with the loss of half the army, this time the weaker left flank composed of a mixture of raw and average crossbowmen folded against the higher quality Florentine crossbows. Meanwhile the strong right flank consisting of mounted Men at Arms were able to defeat their mostly mercenary Florentine opponents whilst the Burgundian dismounted men at arms supported by longbows and pikemen attacked the hill at the centre of the Florentine position.

The defeat of the Florentine cavalry allowed the Burgundian men at arms to clinch the victory over the Florentine centre.

Goodgame and wellplayed to nyczar!

Again, as if by misfortune, I win against the great and only Brennmusik's Englishmen merry men

with my sodden, unwashed, un-labour-friendly vikings.

May their lightened souls enjoy milk, wine and honey (and sausages but not mixed together) in Valhala

In the first game I

MC Ottoman 1430-1500 63% v mberriso Polish 1455-1500 44% A win for IMC.

Result for the reverse game......

IMC Polish 1455-1500 61% v mberriso Ottoman 1430-1500 35% A win for IMC.

Two great games. mberriso was unlucky in this game as a cavalry charge by the Poles just went wild and eliminated his early lead. The Poles never looked back after that.
