Setting up a league
If there are no objections then I would like to use this forum to record the progress of a league that I'd like to establish. I envision setting up 4 preliminary divisions of 8 players initially. The initial divisions will simply be used as group matches. Each player will play a scenario (from both sides) versus each of the other players in their group. Then the top 2 scorers of each division will be slotted into Division A, the 3rd and 4th players into Division B and so on. After this players will compete in their own groups. At the end of a round player's scores will be tabulated and the top 4 players will advance to a higher league while the bottom 4 players will drop down a division. This should help keep the divisions dynamic and allow players an opportunity to hone their skills versus evenly matched opponents.
What do people think and does slitherine mind me organising this?
