Likewise rbodleyscott vs Robert241167, although the reported error is Network Connection Error (Code -1).

(The other game I had in my turn list this morning worked fine)

Is this repeatable? It may be there was a glitch when you tried to connect to the server.

Yes it happens every time I try to access that game.

Same here as well. Though I get it when I try to send my turn.
I have a longer post with more info, but the site keeps timing out when I try to post it...
Maybe the problem is related? I can visit other sites without problems though...

It's also impossible for me, since yesterday at least, to post messages longer than 1 or 2 sentences, no matter which browser I use... Maybe I'll try posting in small increments...

In a DAG game against dazzam. (me Pyrrhic, him Pontic).
Update: the problem seems to affect all of my multiplayer games!... DAG or not.
I have RoR and the latest patch. Also I’ve played without problems the last few weeks until March 30th.

When I end my turn and send it, I see the starting screen with a box "uploading instance" for a rather long while.

After a while I get another popup box:
"Sorry, an error occurred while uploading the game. Network connection error (code -1). Do you want to retry?"

When I retry I get exactly the same. (Except the very first time it was error (code -2), since then always error (code -1))

I also tried closing the game. I had to play the turn again, but had the same problem when trying to send my turn, except there was no more error (code-2), but error (code -1) straight away. Update: when I cancel because it takes too long I get (code-2), when I wait I eventually get (code-1).

There was a similar widespread problem like this some three weeks ago. It got fixed (or not?...) but the affected games were not recoverable. I guess this will now also be the case? :-/

I like the game, and appreciate the quick follow-up on problems, but I have to say this is getting somewhat frustrating...
Maybe the servers are not robust enough?...

P.S.: The problem started around noon CET on the 30th of March. But I haven’t been able to post until now because when I press ‘submit’ the site starts timing out forever and my message doesn’t get posted. Maybe the problem is related?

Also, when I posted these short messages above, I always saw: "Invalid session. Please resubmit the form."
When I press 'submit' again, the short message gets posted.

Longer messages keep timing out forever without posting, and without the 'invalid session' message. I have a sneaking suspicion this is related to my multiplayer problems.

Sorry to bug you all with a succession of short posts, but it's the only way I can post apparently. I didn't have this problem before yesterday, when my multiplayer problems also started...

Its unlikely a server error as it only happens for specific games. It sounds like a bug in the game or server code. We are already spreading the load and have just moved all our FTP to a new server but there is a lot of tweaking involved to get this stuff right so it will take some time.
