First, thank you for the opportunity to participate. I am not a WWII history buff so I am approaching this as a novice. I also do not have ANY experience with Panzer General so my experience with this specific type of game is limited. With that said:
1. Unless the intro is limited during the beta, I would have liked to have seen some sort of historical news footage of WWII battles etc to help set the tone of the game.
2. I think the opening default screen should start on campains rather than individual battles.
3. I am not familiar with the different types of troops. I found myself looking for an info button or option that would open up a grahic of the unit with info...like a detailed unit card for example. I have not been able to find anything like this.
4. I don't care for how movement is shown. Click on a space, the unit just instantly appears there. I would prefer to see the unit actually move or slide to the new position. I do not need fancy graphics but as part of the gaming experience, I just like to see the unit move from point A to B.
5. I would like to see a mission review option in game so i can review my objectives. Again, maybe that is there but I could not find it.
6. Mission objective text seems a bit small.
OK- that is it for now. I know I am just listing "negatives" but IMO you dont need to hear what I like as much as my suggestions based on my gut reactions. I will play more and post in greater detail as I learn more about the game.

I am not sure how to address it BUT I really do not like the way Fog of war is handled. Units just seem to pup up from no where. I had mentioned that I would like to see units actually move...perhaps if this was implemented, I could at least get an idea where the units approached me from. Otherwise, they seem to materialize out of thin air.
-is there a way to dig in? If not, I would like to take defensive positions when prepating from an attack
-I see where some info is given on terrain but it is way too small and does not really indicate any positive or negavite modifiers...they they exist.
-I would like to attack from multiple hex sides at once (coordinated attack for example) from multiple units.
Again, I like the game thus far and think it shows promise but I am just trying to point out my wants and observations.

Unit card is invoked by Alt+click on a unit.gcfl wrote: 3. I am not familiar with the different types of troops. Units dig in automatically when you do not move them. In some terrain (like cities and fortifications) it happens faster than in others (like clear); some unit classes (like infantry) dig in fast, others (like tanks) slowly.gcfl wrote: -is there a way to dig in? While you cannot launch a real simultaneous attack, you do get a bonus if there are other units next to your target ("mass attack" bonus).gcfl wrote: -I would like to attack from multiple hex sides at once (coordinated attack for example) from multiple units.
