Crash when purchasing 88 antiair gun

I had a crash to desktop when purchasing a 88 anti air unit in the first Polish scenario. Never happened for me before until I used the new .99 beta.

I am on a Windows 7 64-bit system.

Can you provide more details? I was unable to replicate this error. When did you buy it, where did you place it, does it crash every time?

It happens every time I purchase the 88, when I leave the purchase screen and before I attempt to place the unit. This is at the beginning of the first Fall Weiss scenario.

checked it and happened to me as well, Poland single scenario, buying a 88 gun with truck gives direct crash to desktop. I'm using Vista 64.

Happens in other scenarios as well, just tried Norway same result. Game crashes to desktop before the unit can be placed.

Can't get it to happen to me at all, windows XP, but it definitely sounds like a problem that needs fixing.

I had the same error. First I bought the 88.AA-Gun then a popup window apears telling me that the game crushed... I loaded the auto save and repeated the purchase only to see it hapen again!

I´m unable to replicate this error in my games. Regardless of scenario (tried poland, france, lowlands). With or without transport. I can buy and place it.

System: Beta 0.99 Win7 64bit

0.99 on windows 7 64bit the same problem (crash) whenever I try to purchase 8.8 flak.
Still there is no problem upgrating an AA to 8.8flak!

I bought a 8,8cm Flak i am not sure, during Norway or Lowlands it works without any Problem, using Windows 7 (64bit) Home Premium

This crash is related to tutorial message on Switch command, and only happens if you did not see that message yet. So if you open up Low Countries scenario, select the 88mm gun, get the tutorial message on how to switch it and dismiss it, you will no longer see the crash.

This problem will be properly fixed in the next update on Friday.

The solution seems to work, got no crashes anymore after trying two different situations where it did occur. Works in new games and in saved games.
