Having seen MY Miniatures Inuit range I'm tempted to do a fun army to go alongside a competitive one for those not bothered if I win or lose days, have come up with the following 650pt list.

3 TC
Skirmishers LF Unprotected Average Undrilled Javelins Light Spear - 6
Skirmishers LF Unprotected Average Undrilled Javelins Light Spear - 6
Archers LF Unprotected Average Undrilled Bow - - 6
Warriors MF Protected Average Undrilled Bw* Impact Foot Swordsmen - 8
Warriors MF Protected Average Undrilled Bw* Impact Foot Swordsmen - 8
Warriors MF Protected Average Undrilled Bw* Impact Foot Swordsmen - 8
Warriors MF Protected Average Undrilled Bw* Impact Foot Swordsmen - 8
Warriors MF Protected Average Undrilled Bw* Impact Foot Swordsmen - 8
Warriors MF Protected Superior Undrilled - Impact Foot Swordsmen - 8
Warriors MF Protected Superior Undrilled - Impact Foot Swordsmen - 8

Comments on the list would be appreciated.

It would be quite scary in a 650pt comp. One of those win or lose big type games.

But who cares. A few eskimos dragging canoes at the back. A couple of polar bears protecting and rampaging through your camp at the same time. Well nobody is going to loot it whilst they are there.

I need to paint up my Iroqois/Timucuan. But I have more pressing odd armies to paint.

putting the arg into argumentative, except for the lists I check where there is no argument!

I played against the army at Britcon last year (George Dick ran it). It's a decent army - lots of bulk, lots of combat. I would imagine it's one to use rarely - can see a lot of the battles being "form line and walk forwards" so it culd get dull in time. The superior guys seemed good value.

Was thinking of it more as a "get the terrain down and break up the opponents formations before hitting them" army rather than a straight line march.

I also played against this at Britcon. It's one of those armies that can't be too clever as it's all undrilled. The IF/Bw* guys can't be relied on to stand and shoot although they are quite good at pushing back skirmishers. The troop mix is unusual though and it would be fun to use.

Well, if they oblige you that's nice but I fear that a sensible opponent wouldn't go within a mile of the terrain but could use light foot to pull your army forwards...
