Q: KV-1C and SE units

Post by BloodCat »

1. KV-1C should be renamed to KV-1S; you don't use 'IC-2' for IS-2 tanks, do ya?
2. Playing DLC '41 I got a fourth SE unit -- is that normal?
3. Can't find info about exp cap in DLC '41 and '42 -- 375/425? So it's 2 stars for '39, 3 stars for '40/'41 and 4 stars for '42?

Can't answer your questions, but while we are at it, the Blenheim Mk.I should be a Mk.IV. Mark One had a different nose.

Each DLC gives at least one SE unit

DLC '39 starts off with 2 potential SE units.
Each other DLC adds one further.

But i don't know if that's true for several DLCs in one year like : 1943 EAST and a possible 1943 (WEST ?)

So with each DLC giving at least one, this is were it be nice to have it not just be tanks and infantry. Honestly, I have 3 SE infantry units, dont really want anymore than that. But be great to get some SE Reccon, TD, etc. One can hope they change that.

You get one extra SE slot in 41 and another in 42.

Experience cap in 41 is 375 and it is 425 in 42. Hope all that helps.

KV-1S and KV-1C are two different tanks. The 1S isnt the same as IS (Iosif Stalin)

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you meant.

I thought this was a case of wrong transliteration. But I was proved wrong. Shame on me.

KV-1C i the German designation of КВ-1 model made in 1942 same as KV-1A is made in 1940 and KV-1B is from 1940. The Russians didt call those tanks a different name even if they differed a bit (Different main gun, machine guns, armor and engine)
Later (I think after august) there was the KV-1S - German designation for the faster and lighter armored version of the tank, that I think in Russian is called КВ-1с.
