Hi Robert!

I was not aware of this book, it looks truly interesting. Actually I just ordered it:-)

V3 was in fact developed by Germans (it was that huge cannon aiming to bomb Britain from the French coast). I think it was never used but instead bombed by the allies at a certain point while it was set up. Interestingly this plan was picked up much later if I am not mistaken by Iraq (perhaps I am talking crap here but thats what I remember). I had watched a very interesting documentary on this kind strange weapons and their future development by others. Sorry can't recall its title right now. But google it, I am sure that you are going to like it;-)

Very promising book, cant wait until I receive it!

Hello chaps!
I was reading this interesting thread, and noticed that you wrote that there was not a jet fighter unit for the USA in late war included in the vanilla e-file...
In case you need, I just uploaded icons for the P-80A fighter and FP-80 tactical recon jet aircraft in the "Multipurpose units" thread.
Feel free to include in any modding work of you, if you like them!

Greetings!

Thanks guille1434! I have already used an icon for P-80 in the MBP (big unit our own, graphic taken from another designer). I checked your icons though and they are really great! So now we know about a still unexploited resource pool for the next update!

Thank you again,

Zeus & Co.

Reworked the mulitplayer scenario now have Syria, Iran and North Africa under Vichy French control at start and British and Allies in Iraq. Allied forces reworked more experience for core forces, Allied fighter aces added, most allied reinforcements are bigger armies as well. Looking forward to testing this out.

Hi Spartacus, this one seems to be prepared for great entertainment :D

Had no time to play it yet but a first ingame look already. The map is marvellous. Really like the idea behind and will hopefully get a chance to enter your 41 scenario soon.

Keep up the good work!

However, I would personally strongly object adding Finland as this would mean that either Bulgaria, Romania or Hungary should go out. On the other hand you can include Finland as "Neutral" very much like what you did with Indian, New Zeland and Australian forces.

Multiplayer version revised since Easter folks - scripts back to previous version so captured flags should add to prestige each turn; St Johns added to Newfoundland now a potential stepping stone to America for the Axis :D and also the Soviet Armies spawn in later so the Germans get a chance to blitzkrieg before they face the tough and elite forces of Russia! German Luffwaffe slightly tougher. Neutral countries flags and strings added so more pretty (still needs work tho), Cyprus now Greek Flag at start. Messages have been altered

As always please let me know of any changes, suggestions you recommend.

Thanks

I've put a game up for anyone with enough stamina to try the MP map version out on PBM. This may take a few months to play :)

* edit: accepted by 2woodbo.

* edit 2: 2woodbo, if you read this, I've tried to send a private message through the board here, but either you don't accept those as the message is still in my outbox, either you decided not to bother with this game  Either way, unless I hear from you by the end of this weekend, i will consider the game forfeit and look for a new opponent.

Hi Spartacus,

Please keep us informed when the single player scenario with the vanilla e-file will be updated.

Can the multiplyer scenario be used against AI ?

Thx a lot!

Hey Rob, Thanks Yes you are welcome to try versus the A.I but it may be easy I haven't tried myself yet :( I will get on to it over next few days and give the single player map some more beef :D for Axis only though at this stage.

Hope the mulitplayer games are going well would love to hear some battle reports. I am about to start another game as well :)

ZeusImmortal wrote:Great Spartacus (I mean it, this map is majestic!)

I have done three things:

- I worked a bit on the beautification of the MP map:
Missing airports added
Missing cities added
small/major River connections
River estuaries
Missing river tiles added
Names of Major Rivers (Volga, Danube etc)

Check it out here: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ba3u7s0s4gm5yks

- I have tested your map with the Minor's Booster Pack given that there are many new units especially for minor allies and minor axis. My suspicion was that it would add even more colour to the game. I was right!:-) Worth having a look yourself...

Let me know,

Zeus

Zeus I have a challenge for you :)

Can you add your minors boosters pack etc to the scenario???

As I have pretty much completed the vanilla version, I thought this would be a great mission for you (as I need rest now lol) and it would also help showcase your work :)

Let me know what you think!

Cheers

Hi Sparatacus!
Notes: In the parameters of the script confused convincing victory of the Allies and the Axis. Must be reversed.
Questions: In the parameters of the script in a normal victory conditions are - the number of flags of the Allies or the Axis on all over the map more than 119. Which of the following about the correct answers?
1. Of the flags are taken into account only the key flags with gold trim.
2. Taking into account flags with gold trim and the usual city.
3. Taking into account all of the flags: flags with gold trim, normal cities, airports and more.

Hey Reinhard,

will have a look at scenario conditions i thought they where correct :S
the player with 119 or more flags wins at 99 turns which includes all flags

to win decisive its the a hex of the cities stated as i tried a gold star but it didnt show up so you just have to refer to the log to see which cities.

ok???
