We are working on expansions one at a time. Until Allied Corps is made and released, there is no work or planning for Soviets. And there are many other things going on in background too, which affect our schedule. So, we'll release the Allies, and then we'll see where to go from there.

Totally jazzed that there's going to be a British-only campaign (hopefully including Commonwealth and Empire troops as well as Free Poles/French/etc.), and glad to hear that you can transfer the core units from that to the joint US/UK campaign. Lots of people are asking about a Soviet campaign, but frankly - yawn. I'd much rather see something about the Pacific war.

Also Allied Campaign actually means Allied Europe and Africa campaign in this case. The entire Allied Asia Campaign would also be a possibility, also starting with the french and british, then the US (or possibly even starting with china). It's not just Japan over there either

To represent the Pacific theater, in my personal opinion, I don`t see it work good enough on the current game series and mechanics, to represent the intense naval battles and overseas operations, proper aircraft carriers, long range supply and support, long ranged patrols and submarine hunting, amphibious operations and landings... we would need to update the engine, battle system and mechanics.

When we do it, we should do it properly and good, so I`me not against it, I just see it more as a cool theme for a second generation of PzC game and series.

Let us do Allied Corps first, depending on many parameters a Soviet Corps on the Eastern front, and to me personally at least, the most logic and last expansion based on the current PzC game series.

For now we focus on Allied Corps and finish the iOS and Mac porting of the entire Panzer Corps series.

All that you said and just to throw this in – the amphibious workings (which is fine for PzC) would need to be revisited on how it is done. Since that too was such a key element in the Pacific.

I put in my application. Looking forward to this version. I was wondering, will it be something like Afrika Korps where while it is a standalone, you can also add it into PzC? Or will it be entirely a standalone game? Thanks for all the effort at a marvelous game. I am still enjoying it. Ive been having fun with the mission editor also. Though I wish there was an updated editor manual.

Here some more info on the upcoming Panzer Corps: Allied Corps:

- We hope to start the Beta somewhere in the second half of April.

- Aimed release date is the 6th of June 2013.

- Allied Corps will integrate into Panzer Corps, just like Africa does, if installed on top of existing Panzer Corps installation. It can also be installed as a stand-alone.

- Allied Corps will share the equipment file with Panzer Corps, and will share Multiplayer with it too. We don't want our community of players fragmented, so people owning PzC will be able to accept challenges from AC, and vice versa.

Not posted on here for a while but just wanted to say Allied Corps sounds cool!

Don't have time for the beta at present as much as i'd like to but I'm pretty sure I'll pick it up on release as I have all of Panzer Korps / Afrika Korps and DLC's etc!

I'd also be keen on a Pacific Theatre version at a later date but appreciate previous comment that a Pacific Theatre campaign would likely need a new or modified game engine et-al. However, I think the Panzer Korps franchise potentially lends itself very well to doing a Pacific Theatre campaign more so than perhaps many other strategy or RTS games.

First beta was sent only to a subset of registered beta testers, but the plan is to include everybody in the next beta, which will be released a week from now. So, not a single person will be left out.
