Mein Obersturmbannführer - We need a bigger boat! :D This forum is immense. Any chance we can sub divide it into four sections. One concentrating on Panzercorps and the DLC's. One for the original Vanilla game. One for Afrika Corps and another for Allied Corps. I'm sure it can be done and it would save a lot of time searching for links and comments etc :?

Dunno about how the mods feel but I personally wouldn't want to be adresses by an SS rank... just a thought.

I find the Global Announcements to be quite annoying.

There are too many. It takes me nearly 20 minutes to scroll down to the ACTUAL forum material.

It needs to be divided up a bit more, as suggested.

DLC: With subfolders for each. This makes asking for help and finding previous answers easier.
Original PC
Afrika Korps
Allied Corps

Again, with some sort of subfolders so you can ask about '39 in Poland without having to scroll through pages.

I am personally not sure we really need more subforums really. The activity on the forums is not that high usually, except the spikes just after release of an expansion or patch. Even if you aren't reading the forum for a few days there are barely more then 10 new threads per forum. It's not that hard to keep overview and further breaking the posts into subforums just create more fragmentation.

Fully agree. Besides that would evolve a lot of work in separating and cataloguing past threads. And what to do with those threads that are not exclusively related only to one of the campaigns?
I'm sorry guys, but I don't think that's possible.

I kind of agree. All this is gonna cause is more moderator work, people in a DLC thread not allowed to talk about Africa Corps or if they do, other people don't find that information, searching in the wrong forum, or even better moderators having to warn off people in the DLC forum for talking about AK because it is offtopic?

But I do also agree that the announcement sections are getting a bit out of hand.

I agree, the top half of this forum has stuff I dont check normally, isnt that what the main overall forum is for? And I also agree, breaking down the forum would be a major pain by Afrika, PC, AC, and all the DLCs. We seem to have a friendly group here, with people posting what they need and getting helpful replies or links to help.

When you add a post or reply to a post within the forum your rank increases. Is there a list of ranks versus amount of entries so you can work out how many posts/replies you need to do to get "promotion". Also if I reply to other forums within Slitherine does my rank go up also?

No, I don't think there's such a post. I think your rank increases in each 50 or 100 posts.
Regarding your other question, yes you get "promoted" by posting in other Slitherine sections besides Panzer Corps.
