When I use the arrow keys to rotate the map, it's really sluggish in BA2 vs BA.
I have an NVIDIA Quadro K4000 which rocks in BA. But, it seems very sluggish in BA2 (rotates 2-3x slower).
Known issue?

Re: Graphics Performance
Are you seeing a slow rate of turning or is the turning less smooth? If there a specific map or map type where it is more significant?

Re: Graphics Performance
You can also use SHIFT+Q to see the instant framerate number for the game, which will tell you whether it is actually running more slowly. Note that some maps in BA2 are more complex and have more objects than in BA.

Re: Graphics Performance
BA2 ... 28 to 34 (top left corner number) ... looks like rotation angle is 0.0177 (top line, rightmost number)
BA ... 60 and the angle is the same
BA ... 60 and the angle is the same

Re: Graphics Performance
But are the maps equivalent? What maps were you looking at when you took the two readings?

Re: Graphics Performance
On my 2.8Ghz AMD Win8.1 PC with an AMD Radeon HD 5570 vidcard I'm getting frame rate of 60 in a skirmish game with a very large map.
Re: Graphics Performance
I think the map sizes were equivalent ... zoom level as well. I'd expect the culling you employ to make them equally as fast ... it's probably due to the textures since the buildings are a lot more detailed in BA2 than BA1 ... anyway, it's a comment on my experience so far.
