Is it possible to attack with two units at once?

At first I thought it is not possible, but AI seems to be doing it (unless that's just graphical feature) and attacking takes two clicks - so is it possible or not?

No.

It's multiple attacks from multiple units, separate damage calculation.
just graphical issue.
