Epicouros (Later Ptolemaic, Roman) 19/29 beat george123 (Early Ostrogothic) 34/34.

A lot closer than the score suggests. A very bloody, confused and chaotic battle eventually went to the Ptolemaics. Skirmishers drawing away some Ostrogoth heavy cavalry from the rear of the thinly spread (to avoid encirclement) Ptolemaic heavy infantry were intrumental in deciding the battle.
Oh, and my general died just before the victory here, too! Seems the trend isn't limited to my Serbians...

The Romans managed to maintain their cohesion in the face of the Vandal cavalry, and then split to chase them down once the spine of their army was broken. The Romans had plenty of luck across the field and that definitely played its part in their victory. Thnks for the game, Okie.
