Odd happenings in the skirmish editor. Almost as soon as I start changing up the settings in advanced mode, especially the year/force sliders, the reinforcement toggle reverts to none and/or can't be turned to on. Also noticing similar issues with trying to change the points for one side versus another.
Also, any thought of adding options to throw in some air and arty support to the skirmish editor?

Re: Skirmish editor
Can you give me a specific set of button presses to produce the issue, so I can be sure I am looking at the problem.

Re: Skirmish editor
As soon as I change up the army list, I lose the option to use reinforcements in the battle. I find points can never be adjusted in this version of the game, in the online skirmish mode. Offline skirmish points are adjustable.
Re: Skirmish editor
I second the problem with the skirmish editor
The problem is not prevalent for the years 44 and 45, but if you want to increase want the force size in the early years, the force size decreases.
A second thing with the skirmish editor is that the AI doesnt use all its points, so e.g. if you play a defensive scenario and you give the AI like 5000 points, more often than not, it fields an army with half that points. This problem is also more likely to occur in the early years and if you play a defensive scenario.

Re: Skirmish editor
The early year troop types are very cheap and we had to reduce the force sizes or you ran out of unit slots.
Re: Skirmish editor
Thanks for the reply.
Still, i just played a defensive skirmish (oct 1944) as axis and the allied attacker had in total 16 units and i gave him 4800 points. And i had 25 units, so it can not be the restriction due to unit slots, or?

Re: Skirmish editor
An addendum: When you get a H2H skirmish battle with reinforcements, they show up in the second turn.

Re: Skirmish editor
Sorry I'm not understanding the issue here. The number of units you get completely depends on what you buy. Without knowing the force composition its hard to say if it is working as intended. One King Tiger is worth 5-10 infantry units.
Re: Skirmish editor
Ok, i try to explain it somewhat better.
In my impression, the AI does not use up all its points in some of the (especially defensive) skirmish scenarios. And this cannot be explained by unit slot restrictions or the force composition. I mean, the AI has 4800 points, the year is 44 and then attacks with with 4 tanks, 10 inf and 2 trucks. If the AI had attacked with 20 ISII, i wouldnt have mentioned the use.
