Unit facing
Any chance of changing the color of the "unit facing indicator"? I find the light gray arrow is hard to see sometimes. Also, can the detailed options selections be made to remember their previous settings. They seem to default to simple on each game start. No bigge, just a minor request.

Re: Unit facing
They will be remembered if you exit the game using the quit button or the exit game button in the options menu. They won't be remembered if you ctrl-alt-delete or close window.
Also they will be reset if you go back into a tutorial scenario.

Re: Unit facing
What about the original poster's request of changing the color of the "unit facing indicator"?
I also have a hard time seeing the light grey arrow.

Re: Unit facing
Especially difficult with units in woods.
A very good suggestion.

The grey indicator is a compromise between visibility and totally messing up the period look.What about the original poster's request of changing the color of the "unit facing indicator"?
If anyone wants to change the colour of the unit facing indicator as a mod, all you need to do is change the colour code string in line 198 of Callbacks.bsf in /PikeandShot/Data/Battle/Scripts
ShowFacingIndicator(x, y, facing, "7Fa6a6a6");

Re: Unit facing
Will doing that trigger a 'scripts not matching' message in MP?

Mr. Scott,
I can't open a .BSF file. If I understand you correctly, you're saying that making the faciing indicator a little more visible would "totally mess up the period look". I can only speak for myself, but I don't see how making a small arrow / indicator more visible would "mess up the period looks" of your very fine game. All you would have to do is darken it a little.
