Re: wtf is....- Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon ?
After viewing the video review I am now sure there needs to be a way to sort units by their effectiveness.
Choosing a tank that's effective vs inf right now might be a nightmare on the later missions.
There should be a way to tag units with tags describing what its good at and filtering the units using those tags in the purchase screen. I don't have the time to learn all the units used.

Can't you just upgrade the unit?
You take a punisher for the first X mission, at some point you decide to upgrade it to Vanquisher or an Annihilator.

Im sorry but my problem is that I dont know which unit works well against what. Upgrading works the same way as upgrading. Say I want a tank that works well against infantry. How do I know which one out of the 30 or 40 is a good choice for this? There is a lot of choices but nothing to make them easy for non 40k people.
I guess people that know that 40k world will know what is what.

for some reason the video now is private O_o
@Totalbiscuit
Removing the 40k video for an edit. Fairly big flub in terms of the understanding of a particular mechanic, redoing it.

Yeah - the manual is kinda sparse. Knowing the 40K world sure helps a lot!Aloo wrote:Im sorry but my problem is that I dont know which unit works well against what. I think what we're looking for is in the weapon stats - after the name and range, there's an icon of a broken heart (that one seems to indicate overall strength) and then another one with a broken "brick" with a percentage next to it. I think the broken brick stat and percentage represents how good the unit is at cracking armor (vehicles and fortifications, maybe?)
