Hi all,

We relesaed version 1.01 of Warhammer. This patch fixes some of the priority issues and added some new functionalities which were requested by the players. These include new hotkeys and tooltips, The 1.01 update is the first in a series of our continued support for Warhammer.

The quickest way of updating is to launch the automatic updater tool. If you are using the Steam version, your game will be updated automatically.

• Bugs Fixed:
o [BUG] Restarting scenario during AI turn can lead to some strange effects (like AI playing your units).
o [BUG] Purchase: select All factions, Artillery and Titan classes will be disabled, even though they are active when only Steel Legion is selected.
o [BUG] Under some unknown circumstances Upgrade button behaves odd: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynNopWK ... e=youtu.be
o [BUG] When choosing to upgrade a unit with transport, transport is not selected by default.
o [BUG] FoW and Undo check boxes do not work when starting a campaign (work fine in single scenario mode)
o [BUG] In MP first tab, click empty space where "Play" button normally appears. This will trigger scenario selection, and the program may get into bad state and crash.
o [BUG] Entering non-ASCII characters into edit boxes results in unpredictable behaviour, from garbage in edit box to crash. Need to filter non-ASCII characters.
o [BUG] It is possible to enter Tab symbol into login edit box. Login will succeed, but then MP flow will be broken.
o [BUG] Items in accept challenge list overlap list bounds. See "too many mp games up overwrites text.jpg" in root folder. Need to check other MP lists as well.
o [BUG] After surrendering a mission in MP, one can restart it via victory screen. This must not be possible,
o [CTD] During deployment phase, select any unit in the list, press P.
o [CTD] Start first scenario (Opening faults), open unit list, click transport icon of any non-selected unit
o A number of issues on 1280x1024 resolution.

• New Functionality:
o Added version to starting screen
o Added caret to all edit boxes
o Added a number of new hotkeys
o Clicking stat and ability icons displays information about them
o Added tooltips to difficulty levels
o Added unit special ability icons to the UI sidepanel
o Improved presentation of AI moves
o Added custom strength plates to special units
o Added killed unit list

• Unit Balance Changes:
o Ork Kommandos have got their stickbombs back
o Tankbustas gained Assault trait for their Tankbusta bombs
o Skullhamma BattleFortress movement increased to 5 to better represent it's "supercharged triple-over-pressure turbo engine"
o Deathrolla Battlefortress has had its Deathrolla weapon and Assault trait reinstalled
o Price of many Ork Super Heavy tanks reduced slightly.
o Traits 'notransport', 'titan', 'heavypull', and 'amphibious' have been added.
o Notransport has been added to Rough Riders, Terminators, and Centurions
o Amphibious has been added to Land Raiders
o Land Raiders Hyperious and Helios have had their double quad Lascannons reduced to double doubles
o Ork stormboyz have lost their ability to fly, but have gained increased movement speed to compensate
o Titans can no longer enter Water hexes
o Imperial Titans increased in cost
o Stormsword and its 'upgrade' have been reversed for more logical unit progression.

• Weapon file changes
o All assault weapons now have a minimum Rate of Fire of 2. Some penetration weapons on assault weapons reduced to compensate.
o Quake cannon gained indirect, bulky, and siege traits
o Apocalypse Missile Launcher increased to rate of fire 6
o Modified Bolter renamed to Combi Bolter
o Gut buster Mega cannon increased to rate of fire 2
o Volcano cannon range down to 4
o Heavy Bolter Support and Shoota Support increased to Rate of Fire 4
o 2 Lascannons increased to Rate of Fire 2. Power, penetration, and weapon accuracy ratings all reduced
o 6 Lascannons increased to Rate of Fire 3
o Demolisher cannon Rate of Fire increased to 4. Power reduced.
o 2 Flamers power reduced
o Heavy Flamer power increased
o Captain Tycho's Bloodsong now has proper ranged weapon stats
o Grot Guided missile power and penetration increased

• Scenario Changes:
o CampScen4
• Added river graphic
o Campscen6B
• Second AI Trigger now affects AI units on the entire map instead of just zone 2
o Campscen7B
• Fixed invisible settlement graphic
o CampScen11
• Named one Warboss unit
o CampScen14
• Added bridge graphics
o CampScen15
• Removed invalid unit
o CampScen19
• Changed Escort AI from ‘Move To’ to ‘Attacker’
• Added one enemy Titan and some escorts
o CampScen24
• Fixed invisible settlement graphics
o Multiscen8
• Scenario now displays proper objectives when objectives are called up
o MultiScen9
• Scenario now displays proper objectives when objectives are called up
• Gargantuan Squiggoth has lost his wheels

• Other Changes:
o Fixed Land Raider Achilles primary attack animation

Hello, is there now a possibility to shot down the unit info bar and where can i find the hot keys ?

I'm not sure what you mean but the change list above is everything that was released in 1.01. 1.02 will be coming soon :)

what he means, is it possible to shut down the unit bar ie UI and he wants a list of all the hot keys as well..

answer is atm no to the UI, and no idea for the hot keys either list as i've not seen it either as yet

No we don't have hot keys yet. It is on the wish list.

The hotkeys that I know are,

D = Disband
P = Purchase / Buy Units
R = Rest
U = Upgrade
Z = Sleep
, & [ = Previous Unit with action left
. & ] = Next Unit with action left
ESC = Close Window or Open/Close Game Menu
ALT + F4 = Quit to Desktop
Arrow Keys = Scroll Map

Thank you for this update, I'm looking forward to the next one.

I've played WH40k for the last 22 years out of 34, and I'm loving this so far, however, I wondered if you can confirm if there will be any changes relating to the following?

1) Scout units, such as the Scout Salamander, should they not be able to move, then move again after spotting something? (like in Pz Corp)
2) Automatic use of requisition between maps is highly annoying, I'd like to decide what is reinforced and when. Will you enable an option to turn this off?
3) On many maps, if you scout an enemy and attack it from a distance it just sits there and takes the punishment, particularly if that unit is waiting for a trigger of some sort. This is highly unrealistic that AI units would just bend over and take it, can you make the AI scout randomly when they are being engaged from a distance and they can't see what it is?
4) Flying units being engaged by everything... means that taking a dedicated AA unit is not necessary. What is the reasoning behind that?
5) Can you add an 'Entrench' option for infantry?
6) What is the point of Glory?
