Pocket Tournament Round 3
Pocket Tournament Round 3
Hi Everyone,
It's time to start the final round of the Pocket Tournament!
The matchups are a little bit more widespread this time around (different timezones may be matched up), so get started early. We may extend the round if needed. After Round 3 ends, we will announce the rankings as well as the winners. We also have a secret bonus prize for our top players.
The time has come to start Round 3 of the Pocket Tournament.
Below you will find the match-ups. Here's the drill:
1. Each match-up will send Game Center invites to each other.
2. The Player on the left invites the player on the right to two matches of Race to the Meuse, one as each side. If the player on the right does not hear anything within 24 hours, they will invite the player on the left.
3. Once your games are started, please post here to confirm.
4. Once a match is complete, the winner posts a screenshot of the end of game below along with who won. The loser will post to confirm.
5. All matches must be completed by November 17.
6. Any questions or concerns, please contact brad(at)shenandoah-studio.com
7. The full rules can be found here.
Here are the match-ups: I hope to see your results below soon!

I have the same opponent as last round. Should we just play again?
Re: Pocket Tournament Round 3
Hi Marti (esparver73),
I'm (Winterkeep) your matchup for this round 3.
Just want to inform you that I'm going away on a ASL tournament the upcoming weekend, so I'm afraid I can´t send any replies during that time.
We would need to finish the games by thursday night. Do you think it´s possible ?
My best gametime is in the evenings, from 8 p.m (european +1).
Looking forward to good games.

Hi @z3ealfish,
Something must be wrong in your GC name. I can't invite/add you, every time I try it, I get an error message.
Anyone knows what the problem could be? I looked through the results if round 1and 2 but no results of z3ealfish where to be seen.

@Lars
Yep, I can do some moves during the day and play some more in the evenings, GMT+1.
Good luck with the ASL. Where's the tournament?

Re: Pocket Tournament Round 3
Just reached out to Cheesy_Nacho.
Just to let Perry know that I'm headed to the States on Saturday, and will be on East Coast time from Sunday. Since we're starting this round late, and missing most of Saturday, we may run over.
Good luck.
Greg

Re: Pocket Tournament Round 3
spacerumsfeld 4 points (win as Axis, draw as Allies) vs. uchogu 1 point (draw as Axis, loss as Allies). Screens below.

Uchogu got some really bad luck on the surprise attacks in his game as Axis when 14th Cav didn't even have to retreat from Losheim. As a result, I was able to stack up two 2-pip armor in Trois Ponts and the Axis were stymied. Sorry for the bad luck, uchogu.

Re: Pocket Tournament Round 3
BradTSS and I split our two games winning one each as Allies. So much for my theory that Allies can't win RFTM against strong Axis players (though the Allies definitely benefited from some lucky defense rolls).
Re: Pocket Tournament Round 3
Spencermusfeld thx for playing. I lost becouse of my bad luck, but good general must have a luck, so you are better today

josephbolt 6 - CanadianHQ - 0
Allies got lucky and were able to cut off the Axis supply. Axis had a quick day one and Allies were able to win/hold some early battles.
Axis had a great push early, was able to take the long way around to Huy and hold on.
Sorry my analysis isn't the best (it usually isn't) but too many games going on.
Great games CanadianHQ!
