Joy & Frustration

Hello all,

Great games, especially in online human vs human mode but also frustrating. I have had a recent co-player who asked for a rematch after I as the Germans drove in Moscow. Now playing on the Russian I find the going tough as Rachel Martin my gallant opponent pushes me in a challenging position. Then all of a sudden there is a power cut - a regular occurrence in Kenya - as I try to end my turn. Since then impossible to reconnect to end my turn and to communicate with Rachel to explain that this is not a cowardly resignation or disspearence.

If Rachel reads this - this was beyond my control

Hey BigM,

Sorry for your trouble. Sounds like you were having fun! What device were you playing on? You may still be able to contact your friend via the "Chat" feature. The game also will attempt to send your turn the next time you can connect to GameCenter.

If you are still having trouble, and have internet service, please use the "Feedback" button to send us a bug report and we'll try to help you out.

Like Miguel said, we tried to make things robust to deal with network outages of various types. If this isn’t working, in some cases you can delete the entire game from your iPad, restore (from a backup on your computer), then reload the turn from Game Center.

Thanks for the replies. I will have to do as suggested. Though I already used this extreme delete, re-download and play from game centre. Re. The first reply I did try to contact my co-player by chat.

When the technical aspects are not challenged these are superb and highly entertaining wargames.

Forgot to mention; playing on iPad Air

This has been happening a lot lately. I had to delete and reboot maybe once in the first 5 months of the year, then once or twice in june, and now maybe 4 times in the past week alone. What's up? Anyone else experiencing it? I know it has happened to two opponents as well this week.

I've hit this glitch once so far as well, playing Moscow on an iphone. I ended my turn during a brief period of interruption of mobile service. The game said it couldn't send my turn and would try again later, but I could never coax it into doing so! It just sat there, unable to end my turn.

A re-install of the app fixed the problem, but I hope I don't have to do that too often...
