Re: Any news on part 2 and part3 plus mod support?
Hello priclessppp,
Unfortunately we decided to stop development of subsequent parts. Please take a look at this thread and this other thread for more info.
That being said, we're working on another game related to space exploration, but with a different scope than SPM and at a lower pace since I went back to full-time employment. We'll reveal more details in the future.
Cheers,

It is great news, even so, we need modding to extend BASPM life!!!Nacho84 wrote:

Is this space exploration game a realistic one with the solar system like Buzz Aldrin Space Program Manager"And not a scifi game?Do we get to fly ships like Kerbal space program? And is this new game about a private space agency management game like playing companies like SpaceX or a government space agency management sim like NASA?Nacho84 wrote:Hello priclessppp,

It's a non-sci-fi game. The focus is on strategy and resource management. You won't get to fly your own spacecraft, KSP is already doing a great job at that
Follow us on twitter, where we'll be releasing more info in a few months (no set schedule, since all the team members are busy with their full-time jobs).

For the moment I cannot promise anything regarding mod support. Unfortunately my time is very limited nowadays, and doing all the groundwork in order to provide mod support is a significant endeavour (making the internal tools more reliable, writing documentation, answering technical questions in the forums, etc). We'll see how things evolve in the upcoming months.Kalesin wrote:It is great news, even so, we need modding to extend BASPM life!!!Nacho84 wrote:

partial modding was working before 1.1, I was able to add mission and mission animation but not the still screen.
After 1.1, it wasn't working anymore... please take a look here :

Ignacio, should I do another test ?

Re: Any news on part 2 and part3 plus mod support?
Please please give us the possibility to mod in individual pictures for the personnel. It's possible to change or enlarge the html-lists of personnel, but what's lacking is an easy way to connect them with pictures e.g. .png or .tif or something the widely distributed and often free programs can handle. If I want to play with Shepard, Armstrong, Glenn, Grissom or Titov, Leonov and the like it's no problem to alter and expand the Astronaut's or Cosmonaut's list, but I can't see any way to give them their proper pictures.
That's something I hope can be done without consuming too much time and something, not only I will appreciate, at least I hope so.
Greetings,
Nils

In this thread, the user Mach25 edit astronauts list for the game: viewtopic.php?f=226&t=62899Nils60 wrote:If I want to play with Shepard, Armstrong, Glenn, Grissom or Titov, Leonov and the like it's no problem to alter and expand the Astronaut's or Cosmonaut's list, but I can't see any way to give them their proper pictures.

We are talking with Ignacio to see if released modding tools and documentation.
Re: Any news on part 2 and part3 plus mod support?
Dear Kalesin,
thanks for the link, but a list of real astronauts isn't any problem for me. I've done this myself and am playing with real US and Soviet Astronaut NAMES. But how do you get their PICTURES into the game? Maybe I've overlooked something? If so, I'd be greatful for an explanation, how this can be done. Otherwise I'd humbly beg this to be made possible in a future patch.
