US Corps '42 - Spring Wind
So I realize the US is unable to aid the Free French at the beginning of the scenario. Finally, after turn 4 I am told I can deploy core forces. Moved to turn 5, 6, the same.
I am not offered a list of existing, saved core forces to deploy, nor do I see any deploy points on the map.
In addition, I tested purchasing some US units, which I am allowed to buy, but again there are no arrows on the map to place them.
Can someone advise what I'm missing? Thx!

IIRC on this scenario the deployment starts at turn 4 and deployment zone is upper left corner of the map.

Are you sure, that you clicked the reserve list button?
It's the round button with an downward arrow in the unit box.
Clicking that button shows your reserve and choosing a unit out of that list will let you deploy that unit.

Thx everyone - I didn't see that deployment area on the top left.
Re: US Corps '42 - Spring Wind
It's a very, very hard scenario - I would recommend to keep everything near Sbeitla, and pull out immediately when evacuation zones appear. You will be able to save your core force in that way, and next scenarios shall be easier.

Here is a replay by the author Niko of these scenarios... See how he did it...

Wow... I thought that anti-tank guns are useless, but it appears that I was wrong.okiemcguire wrote:Here is a replay by the author Niko of these scenarios... See how he did it...

It's not a hard scenario but you will need to keep the enemy across the river at all times. Sacrificing the correct french unit to buy time is the key and since the enemy will be pack it's easy to get a lot of surrendering and prestige if you plan carefully

Agreed. It's not difficult as such but if it starts to go wrong you can end up in big trouble very quickly. At least the first time I played it that's what happened.

Usually first time is always a fail hahaha. My first experience here is hold the line at all cost and by turn 4. Enemy is at my deployment zone hahaha bad choice. Some scenarios we really need to pay more attention as the scenario design is tricky
