Hi Everyone!
We found a critical bug that stops Skirmish maps generating correctly after the second mission in the Stormclaw Campaign.
After you have installed the v1.0.2 patch via the updater or downloading from the Members Area, please unzip the attached file (SanctusReach_v1.0.2_Hotfix.zip) and copy the extracted file (MapGenerate2.BSF) into the following location inside the installed Sanctus Reach Directory (by default this would be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Slitherine\Sanctus Reach\"):
\Data\Battle\Scripts\
Please let us know if anyone has any problems getting this fix installed.
Happy Gaming!

Re: Sanctus Reach Hotfix for v1.0.2
Hi Matthew,
The 1.0.2 Installer seems to be unchanged. Are you going to merge the Hotfix into it?
regards

As this is only one file change there's no plan to roll this up into an installer.
But we will ensure that the file gets included along with the next patch for Sanctus Reach.
Hope this helps.

Re: Sanctus Reach Hotfix for v1.0.2
Obviously I bow to your decisions
but I'd point out that in the member section the Hotfix isn't visible, so depending on how long you expect for the next update to arrive you're going to generate support tickets from people who download the game and 1.0.2 update without reading the message board.
From a software housekeeping perspective I've never liked to have installers around that require manual patching afterwards, and a little readme inside the ZIP would serve well.
But this may all be moot if you expect 1.0.3 to arrive fairly soon, for sure the speed between 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 was impressive. Please don't take offence, just offering feedback from a software-savy customer also working in IT.

I agree that adding a readme inside the ZIP file and making it available to the Members Area, would indeed serve well for those users that don't frequent the forums and go straight into making a support ticket.
As we are unsure of the length of time between the current patch and the next, we have done as you suggested and will take it into consideration for future cases similar to this one.
There is now a ZIP file on the Members Area which contains the file required for the hotfix as well as a ReadMe.docx with the instructions for installation.
Thanks again!
