What hair I have left...

Post by paleryder »

...I can keep- I finally beat Seminara on Sergeant Major General! I'm too old to feel this is a major accomplishment but given the number of times that scenario beat the snot out of me I feel I have to celebrate. :D The trick that won the battle for me was selecting the mounted crossbowmen. That made a dramatic difference in my cavalry's ability to hold the right flank. This gave me the needed time to defeat the pikes. It was close. I was doing really well until the last two turns. The French had defeated my right flank and was beginning to bear down on my remaining troops and my troops were collapsing fast. It turned out 58/60.

I'm new to the game. I've been playing about a week. I love it. This is going to give an old friend and I a chance to do some war gaming that we sorely need to do.

My hair has all gone now! Before I started playing Pike and Shotte I was known as the Wildman of Borneo!!!

Well Ok, not wild but somewhat over the top, and to be honest not Borneo but actually Norwich.

Still, I pay no barbers bills!
