Sorry to be a bit dumb here. I put the Mod in the Mod directory. I use the Generic Mod Enabler to select it, then start Panzer Corps. When I get to the Campaign/Scenario screen I find no way to start the mod in the game.

Obviously I'm misunderstanding something basic here. Many mods put me in the same position. I few (Slovak, Hungarian, Italian 2) have the right hand upper picture changed to the modded campaign, but not yours.

What am I failing to see (or do)?

Its just a scenario so its vanilla file. I just put in "/documents/mygames/panzercorps/scenario" and run as custom game/map. Not sure on how to run via generic mod enabler but Im sure its possible and you can add own mods to this map i.e navy units to purchase etc

ANyone else can help?

Thank you, Sparatacus. Obviously I've made some bad assumptions about terms and procedures. I've been really imprecise in thinking "scenarios" versus "campaigns," where I put them, how I access them and so forth. I'm going to have to go back and reread posts and redo experiments.

All good buddy! Its confusing, I'm still learning myself

I have listed below how I think of the different terms

scenario - one off map
campaign - number of scenarios strung together etc
mod (modification)- new values/units etc


1941 is a scenario (albeit unusual as its like a campaign due to size and number of turns)

Panzer General 2 campaign for example

Realistic sounds mod - mod, replaces sounds to more realistic ones

Battlefield Europe is all three! A mod (new values i.e naval units can't shot as many hexes), has with a campaign and 3 scenarios!

Have played this scenario multiple times on multiplayer, it's the best. Still can't seem to get it downloaded into my game. I've tried all the advice given but no success. Would love to play again if someone would put up challenge. Thanks Sparatacus for creating this scenario, it's awesome.

I downloaded the 3 scenerios and put in my games, then moved to panzer corps folder. Inside this folder there is no scenario folder, any help would be appreciated. I am not the most pc savvy but would love to get these and the 1941 big scenerios working.

you might have you create a new scenario folder so you get the right file path? right click, new folder etc

c::/mygames/panzercorps/...scenario

then place the files in the scenario folder you made should be there

you did a great job. Thank you. Your are subject matter expert in this.
The enlarged map is the queen of all maps!!!

I added winter and enabling purchasing of minor units (Greeks, Yugoslav troops. Spartacus dont like snow ) .
The map is spectacular. Currently, I am in progress as German (round 10) and waiting for snow to see the fins sky infantry in action....any comments / challengers ?

BTW this map would be even more spectacular in battlefield mod. Anyone tried (curious how it will works)? MP functioning very well in mod

Mc gubas equipment files should be in regular patch. then the game will be complete (my opinion)

Hi Spartacus, can you confirm that is is just the multiplayer map you have updated? The single player maps appear to be unchanged. Cheers.

mkoki77 - thanks its fun map and the enlarged factor gives it another edge

and great stuff on doing your own version/mod etc; thats cool every one has own preference and I debated snow/no snow for some time

I tried with battlefield mod its friggin OP looks really authentic I didn't get a chance to play any turns though - great idea to try that!



rubyjuno - correct I only update the multiplayer version at the moment, feel free to modify map yourself i.e add prestige bonus to A.I or new units etc; but you could try map on hard difficulty should still be somewhat of a challenge.
