1. In many cases hills don't appear to be blocking line of sight. Infantry units (bolters and gretchins) are able to fire completely through them without any issue.
2. long range fire accuracy guess is wildly inaccurate. Shooting at near to a units max range doesn't appear to have the predicted accuracy. Noted the problem several times before but just ran a quick test on it. 5 units fired twice at an estimated 60% accuracy. All ten shots missed. Extremely low chance of that happening (rough estimate about 1%).
