Redeeming Your Steam Key

I'm having a problem redeeming a key for the steam key now I sent in a ticket. It says on steam key will not work and on this site it says key already in use. Just bought it today. Winter war Order of battle email (removed)

once a ticket has been logged, they will reply, i don't have access to that side of accounts etc, byt have removed you email address from the reply, just in case, please remember to check your spam filter or spam box, just in case the reply doesn't go missing in there etc

I can redeem Steam keys except for Burma Road
I don't have the "get sream key option" available

ah the new game then, it seems, have you tried to input it into steam, as some games now the key is your steam key

I just got the game for free as a registered user. Upon product activation on Steam it ask of me to enter the product code first, so where can i see what the product code is for the game? I could poke around in the game directory for it and search there, game manual not fully read and all but thought i could ask about this situation here now.

Edit: Game manual; "OOB Pacific manual EBOOK.pdf" refuses to open on my PC no matter what i do, my local problem i guess but now i tried at least, some, i hope. Thanks for any help with this.

Error message for *pdf file: Fatal error "Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server".

To get the Steam code you need to register the game on Slitherine (login to My Page).
The code will appear under Order of Battle. After installing on Steam the code is replaced with a 'Steam library' message (see my screenshot).

My Page also gives you access to patches and other files.
One little bonus is that you can run 2 instances of OOB concurrently, Slitherine and Steam.
Great for us multi-taskers

Not really at my end. This is what i see on the my page screen:

ORDER OF BATTLE: WORLD WAR II
SERIAL:
NOT AVAILABLE
STEAM KEY:
ON YOUR STEAM LIBRARY

Is it because this was a FREE copy of the game perhaps?
And like said earlier, when going through the correct process on Steam it asks of me for the games product code?
Also, it does not by default after installing the game show up in the Steam library so there´s nothing there about it, tried just now to add it as a "no Steam" game but that doesn´t produce anything that´s worth mentioning from what i can see.

P.S
Just now noticed that i don´t have "Steamworks Common Redistributables" updated in Steam if that could be it, but grasping after straws now or what´s it called. Greppar efter halmstrån.

I'm not sure how the Steam key works (or is needed) for the free core-game.

Just the boot camp, tutorial section, that´s playable and then nothing else? If just a demo then the download page should reflect that fact.

Edit: "free to TRY" some text in the clip states in that page above´s clip. Great, i missed that.
Do point this "little" fact out then clearer i suggest, easy to miss it.

The Boot Camp campaign has 4 missions(good campaign) and you can play the first mission of each DLC(14 DLCs) if I remember correctly...Could you confirm that ?

Yeah i noticed that, tried Pearl Harbor and was the USA. Say no more. Hint, hint nudge nudge.
I won´t b*tch about it now though, i feel that mood is coming up but in all fairness, it was for free.

Edit: It´s confirmed. For that specific DLC at least mentioned above.
