Re: no sound
Hi rqrd,
it is a very unique issue. It has never happened anymore. Would you mind to check the audio settings that it is actually turned on there (all the checkboxes)? Apart from that, the sounds (outside the game) works absolutely fine, I presume?
Re: no sound
thanks for your answer. yes ist is all on and the sounds is function outside the game.
Re: no sound
I will look into this tomorrow. You are literally the first player who has such a problem. If you dont mind, I might contact you again just to find out more details about this issue.
Once again, we apologize for the issue.

Re: no sound
would be helpful if you could both post your system report so we can see what hardware and drivers and dates you are both running, thanks, and sorry for your issues
How to get a DirectX Diagnostic file:
1. click on "START"
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
We prefer that DxDiag files be posted as message attachments rather than pasted into the body of the post.
once the report has been made, just attach it to your post with first adding the file to a zip, which is then permitted to attach to the forum

Re: no sound
Hi, i have pretty much updated everything:
Bios, Realtek sound, Intel chipset driver, Intel Me driver, Realtek lan driver.
disabled the Intel onboard graphics, usb hub, bluetooth, mouse wireless stick, G13 board
and using one monitor only
Result: NO SOUND
attachment: new dxdiag file
ps: it is possible the gog files are corrupted?

seems you have 2 sound devices or have load 2 sets of sound driver, either by yourself or used a auto installer to update?
for me i'd recommend checking sound ports to see if the sound is being ported elsewhere?

The AMD Catalyst™ software suite is packaged with the driver for the AMD High Definition Audio Device.

Re: no sound
no, i don't use the galaxy software.
ok, i can disable/ uninstall the amd sound. But normally i choose the option for standard sound device (in this game the realtek driver) and is function by all other applications. I will try it and report then.

Re: no sound
i'm not 100% sure how the GOG file none galaxy software works tbh, as normally once it installs, it verifies the files before loading on the first time you click play, on a none software version, it's just a download, but normally if corrupt it wouldn't install tbh, so no don't think it's a faulty file, only thing to recommend is uninstall, redownload and reinstall it and see if the newer one is any better than the first for that part i'm sorry to say.
Re: no sound
I have uninstalled the amd driver und installed the last adrenalin driver vers. 18.8.2 without the sound driver. Windows will install the microsoft sound driver instead (from 2010), i 've disabled this.
no sound! in game
next step: uninstall the game und reinstall with gog galaxy (i dislike the software)
result: no sound
and now???

Re: no sound
now try the automated install of drives from intel, which will hopefully sort out any driver issues, then double check the cables and make sure the sound works out side of the game before re trying the game etc, sorry about this, it's not normally this long winded tbh,

Re: no sound
Hi rqrd,
it is a really weird issue I have to say. Could you please check that the sound is actually turned on for the game itself (not the system volume but the per-app volume)?
Here is what I mean
and here is how to do it https://lifehacker.com/5862661/set-volu ... in-windows
We just want to narrow the potential cause of this issue.
Thank you for your help and we apologize for this issue.
