I think SJ is a nice game, though I am getting beaten up as the Uesugi. I would like to play some more however.KiwiWarlord wrote: ↑Tue Oct 16, 2018 9:45 pm Speaking of competitions, this one thanks to Alan, has been a breath of fresh air for Sengoku Jidai, a most enjoyable and challenging one at that.
I would like to put a suggestion forward that at some time in the near future, we need a short break methinks, Sillygoy and SnuggleBunnies become Team leaders and all the other willing players go into a draw for which team they are on and we do it all again, maybe the Ming or the Koreans be involved.
How say you all ?
As it stands, we have Round 3 of this year's tournament - I think that I will slightly change the format so that there are just four Seikigahara games rather than eight, with each team playing each side twice, if you see what I mean. So Game 1 is team kiwi v team lfdlm, Game 2 is team lfdlm v team kiwi etc. As winners of Rounds 1 and 2, Brian, our Kiwiwarlord, will select the match-ups as per the original rules.
For the future, yes let's play again, perhaps starting in January. I personally like the team format and would be happy if SG and SB volunteered as Captains. I will be happy to lightly adminstrate again. Maybe, one of the more experienced players can post (before the matches start) a brief tactical guide on the armies involved. This would help a lot and make the games more competitive, and therefore enjoyable.

I would very much enjoy continuing with the Mandate of Heaven armies some time.

Doing a tournament of this sort with Mandate of Heaven armies sounds fun. Sure, I'm all for it!
