sunnyboy (Urartian 681 -585 BC) beat edb1815 (Achaemenid Persian 545-481 BC), 60 – 44

Both armies began the fight slowly not wanting to give up their sound defensive positions, after a brief lull the Urartian commanders impatience won out and he pressed forward extending his left with the intention of striking at the Persian right. The Persian countered by extending his right whilst pressing a strong attack on his left. As casualties mounted a successful Urartian cavalry charge in the centre proved decisive in the race to 60%, a few late rallies extended the margin in what was a close and hard fought near-run thing!
