Re: login to multiplayer -> Serial not found
I am assuming you installed it through the slitherine installer here. Both steam and gog shouldn't use the serial check.
This should only happen when the game isn't installed properly which should actually prevent you from even starting the game.
Can you send us your output_log.txt from C:\Users\{user}\AppData\LocalLow\Owned By Gravity GmbH\Fantasy General II where {user} should be replaced with your current windows user name.
Then we can hopefully determine exactly what went wrong.

Re: login to multiplayer -> Serial not found
I am having the same issue. "Serial not found".
I own the Slitherene registered version & have already sent this to 'Support' with no response as of yet.
I have never encountered this issue before.
I will add, I notice the 'serialreg' file has a lot more info than just the serial number.
From what I have seen, that file should only have the serial number, like many of the other Slitherene products.
I tried to emulate that, but the game would not load...so much for that idea.
btw, the game runs fine except for the tiny text.

Re: login to multiplayer -> Serial not found
I have this same problem, has anyone found a resolution yet or heard back from support?
Re: login to multiplayer -> Serial not found
From our own investigations it seems that the serial number isn't recognized by Slitherine's service. We are trying to find out what causes this.
What you can do to help is find the file pbem3-communication.log in {User}\AppData\LocalLow\Owned by Gravity Gmbh\Fantasy General II remove your password from it if present and send it to Slitherine Support with a reference to this thread.

We believe that we have tracked down this issue and resolved it.
When you get the chance to, please attempt to login to the multiplayer and inform us if you continue to encounter the same issue.
