Re: Panzer Corps 2 - Dev Diary #10
One issue right off the bat is size of the troops they are way to big

Yes!...we all have our 'Preferences'!. Nothing wrong with your request.
However...your suggestion brings to mind an idea that just came to mind...to possibly have in the 'PzC2-'Game'...perhaps to have a built in 'Sizing-Adjuster'...so that the 'Player'...can set the 'Unit-Sizing-View'...to suite their preference.
In my case for example, my 'Eye-Sight' is not what it used to be, so...for myself...I prefer 'Larger-Unit-Sizes' on the 'Game-Screen'.

Yes!...what you say from how you see it...from your perspective, i will not make dispute .
However...the "informational purpose" in the 'PzC2-Game' using these disproportionate sized icons... is 'Not' to depict actual deployed 'Units' as single/individual elements/entities...where 'Actual-Proportional Size' is relevant as in that particular instance...but, to instead...'Symbolically' illustrate 'Unit-Formations/Groups'...in that...one Armored/Infantry Unit depicted on the Game-Screen represents perhaps a hundred Tanks or ten-thousand infantry-men.
Hence! ... 'Proportional-Sizing' is not 'required/important' here, instead...it is useful in making it easier to see who is what...and what is who!. If true to life sizing was implemented,...then it sometimes makes is very difficult to differentiate between similar looking/type units... to see if your dealing with... for example...a 'Garrison Unit or a Divisional Unit' on the 'Game-Screen'. In essence..it is very similar as to how 'Nato-Icons'/Symbology...is used...to represent the various air-sea & land participants.
