Weekly round-up
Division A is shaping up into a 3 horse race with Nosy_Rat (Roman) maintaining his lead with a fifth straight win ahead of Geffalrus (Macedonian) and harveylh (Roman). At the bottom youngr (Indo-Greek) needs to win a couple of matches quickly if he is going to avoid the drop. A 3 horse race is also what we have in Division B where a big win for Schweetness101 (Carthaginian) over previously unbeaten IMC (Samnite) has put him within 2 points of the current leader desertedfox(Greek) with a game in hand. There are still 5 players in this division who are yet to score a point. GDod (Indo-Greek) has won Division C outright, despite narrowly losing his eighth match to cromlechi (Egyptian). cromlechi can now only reach 28 points whereas GDod has 29 with one match left to play. Another win for SawyerK (Pyrrhic) means he just needs a 3 point win from his last match to overtake the current leader in the clubhouse, Swuul (Roman). However, that last match is against Macedonczyk (Indo-Greek) who has 4 straight wins so far and the result of it could decide who wins automatic promotion.

Weekly round-up
There is a very strange look to Division A at the moment. The leader is dkalenda (Kingdom of Soissons) with 31 points and then everyone else put together have accumulated just 33 points! Snugglebunnies (Byzantine) is making a good claim for second place though with 5 wins from 7 starts, but most of the other players have only completed a couple of matches. It is actually still possible for NikiforosFokas (Palmyran) and youngr (Arab City) to overtake dkalenda, but they will need to win all their remaining matches to do so. Division B looks like ii is being sponsored by "Draws R Us" this season as 8 of the 23 results posted so far have been draws! Cunningcairn (Roman) has a 7 point lead but only has 1 match left to play, while both lydianed (Sassanid) and Questar17 (Gepid) remain unbeaten after 2 and 3 starts respectively. A superb unbeaten performance by newcomer ConstantinIX (Roman) has seen him win Division C outright with 8 wins and a draw. SawyerK (Kingdom of Soissons) is making a strong challenge for second place with 5 wins from 7 starts. In Division D, ggarynorman (Palmyran) has moved up to third behind vvanttin (German Horse Tribes) and Macedonczyk (Jewish Revolt) who both still have 100% records.

MikeMarchant (Arab Bedouin (300-636 CE)) defeated Garokan (Scots-Irish 50 BC-476AD): 51-24

Bad luck, Garokan, a decisive breathrough of the the Scots-Irish line by Bedouin lancers decided the outcome.

In Division A harveylh (Andalusian) has taken a clear lead now with 5 straight wins ahead of Sennacherib (Frankish) and Snugglebunnies (Khorasanian) who both have 4 wins from 7 starts. Nosy_Rat (Byzantine) is further back with 3 straight wins. Cunningcairn (Frankish) is still setting a good pace in Division B with 6 wins from 7 starts and he is being chased now by Schweetness101 (Andalusian), who has 4 straight wins, and Nijis (Spanish), who has 3 wins from 4 starts. Division C looks to be between 2 players with 100% records, pompeytheflatulent Byzantine) who has 6 straight wins and lunecastle (Anglo-Saxon), who has won his first 3 games. Division D is approaching an exciting finish with just 7 matches left to finish. baldrick52 (Viking Ireland) has surged to the top with 7 wins from 8 matches. His last match is against currently unbeaten Macedonczyk (Arab Conquest) and a 4 point win would secure automatic promotion. A 3 point win would mean that Macedonczyk could still take the top spot if he won his remaining 3 matches with maximum points. On a map with just enough woods and rough terrain to hamper the Romans HI, the Carthaginians had two ambushes ready. The first one stopped the initial Roman attack and strung them out. If the Romans had been a little less cautious the Carthaginians would have triumphed. GG
