Overwhelming Attack + Shock Tactics exploit

Post by nnn123nnn »

Stick an Overwhelming Attack hero and a Shock Tactics hero on a melee unit (Overwhelming Attack forces an enemy unit to retreat when it takes damage, Shock Tactics prevents an enemy unit from moving). Whenever this unit attacks an enemy capable of retreating, as long as the enemy takes at least 1 point of damage, it will surrender. It's pretty much a one shot kill for any enemy unit on the board, no matter how powerful it is. If you add a third hero with the No Retaliation skill, then your unit won't even take any damage. I put all 3 heroes on a recon and after it attacks and forces a surrender, I move it back behind my lines so it never takes damage. It's like having a tactical nuke every turn. Stuff like this makes an already easy game almost trivial.

Yeah, some combination of heroes are just way too OP. The solution right now, is to not do it. It's very hard but it's a viable option. :)

Overwhelming attack + Envelope also works good. Especially with Hero perk on trophy.
Panzer Corps 2 is the most ahistorical game in the history of WW2 games

Yeah, there are plenty of insane hero combos- 2x ROF/No Retal flame tanks can basically clear out whole cities single-handedly with always overrun.
