Rome double progress from objective?

Post by dodgy »

I apologise if this is a known issue or I am just overlooking a feature.

I started a game as Rome. A few turns or so in I captured Picenum which was an objective and immediately earned a progress token. Then I made peace with the Senones and they ceded Picenum. Rome then unexpectedly got given a second progress token for the conquest of Picenum.

I thought I might have been imagining it so started another game, carefully watching the CDR & progress tokens, and did the same thing: captured Picenum which was an objective, then made peace with Senones who ceded the region. Yep, 2 progress tokens again.

So is this supposed to happen or is it a bug?

This is a bug but it is noted and will be fixed for the next patch...A bit of an inconvenience indeed.
