BETA TEST RULES AND ARMIES LISTS

Post by sergiomonteleone »

Hi there,
when I was a beta tester for Ancient and Medieval FoG I received rules and some armies lists in beta version.
Regarding Napoleonic FoG I haven't received anything yet (the same happened to som friends of mine).
Someone could you help me, please?

Sergio,

The 2nd Beta group will be selected this weekend to be sent rules etc next week.
Your patience is appreciated.

Hi Terry,
many thanks.
My Napoleonic figures are a little bit impatience to play FoG ........ and I need some free time for my Ancient and Medieval FoG armies.
As I'm appreciating a lot Ancient FoG (Stefano , compared to DBX ), I hope it will be the same with the Napolonic one.

Terry,

Despite numerous attempts to sign up on line, I have been unable to do so.

However, Andy Claxton who also goes to the Clevedon club has managed it.

Could you perhaps threat his application as a group application for the Clevedon Club?

Thanks

Don

Hi Terry

Not sure if you have finalised the 2nd Beta group yet but thought I'ld try a 'pick me choose me' post. We have a small group of enthusiastic napoleonics players at the club (North Shore, Auckland New Zealand) who would be happy to assist me to play test the rules. About 15 years ago I wrote a set of nap rules (brigade level) that we used at the club until they were supplanted by Napoleon's Battles. I am a solicitor by trade and used to drafting, and also to searching text for ambiguity or lack of clarity. With the credit crunch I also sadly also find myself having plenty of free time on my hands!

On a strategic level both members of our club and the other Auckland club are currently buying and painting 28mm napoleonics. Shako II has/is firming as the favoured set of rules. If not myself, then I think it would be prudent for someone in Auckland New Zealand to be selected as a play tester to create interest in an alternate set of rules to Shako.

Cheers

Brett
