Division D
Supervark's Byzantines with Arabs drew with Ironclad's Romans with german horsey allies 42-52
A very close run game with the battle going back and forth for many turns until the Byzantines managed to gain the upper hand but could not finish the Romans off before the turn s ran out.
Thanks, ironclad for a great game well played.

Barrold713 (Seleucids) defeats Tratmot (Persians) 42-10
Not going to lie, enjoyed a decent plan working out in my favor along with good rolls that helped.
Good game. Thanks for the match

Division E
Kerait (Romans and Bithynians) beats Blagrot (Spanish Lusitanian) 61-56
A really close match! Well played to Blagrot, who stood up frighteningly well against the Roman legionaries. Fun game. I invested everything into Roman infantry while Blagrot had a mix of skirmishers, cavalry, medium foot, legionaries and light cavalry. The Lusitanian infantry stood up better than I expected, and Blagrot's light troops and horsemen harassed the Romans fairly effectively, but in the meat grinder, Roman morale just about won about. Could have tipped the other way in a heartbeat.

Division F
Darkwater247 - Samnite 355-272 BC with Gallic 300-101 BC allies defeats hscic - Armenian (Tigranes) 83 - 69 BC 45-11
The Samnite weaker left managed to hold on whilst the stronger right won its battles against the Cataphracts, A few moral drops on my left and it could have been a very different result, as the armenians would have rolled me from that side.
Thank-you for the history information around the factions and the game hscic.

Division D
rs2excelsior (German 888-932 AD) beat Kerait (Arab (North Africa) 1000-1160 AD with Byzantine 988-1041 AD allies) 55-27
A chaotic cavalry battle decided this one. The Arab infantry hung back with their flanks on rough ground and their left on some mountains. The German infantry also hung back, while my left flank cavalry (and the cavalry division originally on my right as well, after moving across behind my line) engaged the enemy cavalry. With some support from an infantry detachment, the German armored lancers managed to overwhelm their opponents, as the German infantry moved up to engage the enemy infantry. While the Arab light horse did cause some problems and one Arab lancer was about to slam into the rear of my infantry, enough enemy cavalry broke to push the score over the threshold.
Good game to my opponent - the cavalry battle was very fun and chaotic!

Division E
snooky51 (Parthian 250 BC-225 AD with Arab 312 BC-299 AD allies) defeats Kerait (Roman 197-284AD with Arab 312 BC-299 AD allies) -- 62-34
high ground was secured by the Romans, however those unable to join the heights were swarmed by cataphracts and horse archers. Probably not a good matchup, not enough cavalry to drive off the parthian horde.
