Weekly round-up
The pressure on the leader in Division A Questar17 (Etruscan) increased this week with wins for challengers LuciusSulla (Achaemenid) and harveylh (Macedonian). Unbeaten nyczar (Spartan) is still in with a big shout back in fourth place. At the bottom a seventh defeat for lunecastle (Seleucid) means he needs to win his last match against fellow-struggler Challenge1 (Roman) to have any chance of avoiding relegation. Stew101 (Numidian) continued his steady climb towards the top of Division B with a fourth win, but he is still 8 points behind the leader tyronec (Syracusan), although he still has a game in hand. Aetius39 (Pyrrhic) is in third place 6 points behind tyronec, but he and Stew101 still have to play tyronec and the outcome of these matches will decide the division. At the bottom both Swuul (Samnite) and Trogilus (Thracian) have 5 defeats apiece and their match together will be crucial in the relegation battle where DzonVejn (Skythian) has finished on 8 points after winning his last match. Nothing to report from Division C this week, but in Division D 2 wins for carpenkm (Ptolemaic) has allowed him to open up an 8 point lead over his most likely challenger snooky51 (Indo-Skythian). These two players have yet to play each other. BobGanoush (Roman) recorded an eighth win this week in Division E to complete an unbeaten season and finish second behind Captainwaltersavage (also Roman). rs2excelsior is relegated (and excluded from next season) after failing to complete his matches. In Division F Malabar26 (Thracian) moved to within 8 points of leader Delbruck (Achaemenid) with 2 games in hand and these two still have to play each other. At the bottom both Brenmusik (Slave Revolt) and telesien (Samnite) are still waiting for their first points after 7 straight defeats apiece.

Weekly round-up
ericdoman1 (Indian) is the new champion of Late Antiquity after recording an eighth win against nyczar (Roman) this week. It was a very exciting division with both ConstantinIX (Arab City) and desertedfox (Sassanid) finishing within 4 points of the leader. The relegation battle is still widen open with 5 players still not safe from the drop with plenty of matches left to play. In Division B only the relegation battle was left to decide and a victory for paulmcneil (Gothic Horse) in a crucial match against SLancaster (Scots-Irish) means that SLancaster is relegated. A very exciting promotion battle concluded in Division C this week with Morat (Ostrogoth) defeating his closest rival lunecastle (Pictish) in the decisive match. lydianed (Caledonian) has finished second. At the bottom Ironclad (Western Hunnic) needs at least a score draw in his last match against BishUK (Roman) to avoid the drop and send Doyley50 (Palmyran) down. A sixth win apiece for Conteshard (Roman) and snooky51 (Sassanid) in Division D has brought them closer to long time leader ulysisgrunt (Roman). A lot now depends on the outcome of their match against each other. At the bottom both Bluefin (Indian) and Supervark (Kushan) are still looking for their first points after completing 6 matches. rs2excelsior (Ostrogothic) defaulted from his matches in Division E this week leaving TomoeGozen (Sassanid) at the top of the table and setting a tough target of 30 points to beat. carpenkm (Roman) can still get to 30 points but cannot overtake TomoeGozen as he lost to him in their match together. The only player who can get past 30 points is Blagrot (Ancient British) and his target is 18 points from his remaining 5 matches. rs2excelsior is relegated and will be excluded from next season. In Division F CyberHetman (Bosporan) completed a fabulous clean sweep and a 36 point maximum after beating previously undefeated Malabar26 (Lombard) in the decisive match. At the bottom a draw for phlewis (Roman) has left McHarg (Romano-British) in the wooden spoon position.

In his first season back after a very long break, ericdoman1 and his Indian army have registered 8 wins to narrowly win a very hard fought contest ahead of ConstantinIX and desertedfox. Well played ericdoman1.

Weekly round-up
A rare narrow defeat for Nosy_Rat (Ghaznavid) at the hands of ninth-placed Triarii (Spanish) was the only action in Division A this week, while in Division B mr cholo (Dailami) secured a sixth win to maintain his 7 point lead ahead of Challenge1 (Arab Conquest) who has 2 games in hand. At the bottom NikiforosFokas (Byzantine) is still without any points this season. In Division C IMC (Hindu North) completed his escape from the relegation zone with 2 more wins and a score draw, but Swuul (Andalusian), Trogilus (Dailami) and Conteshard (Norman) are all still looking for their first points of the season. In Division D the leader Garokan (Spanish) needs 3 points from his last match against BishUK (Irish) to be certain of finishing above Blagrot (Andalusian). At the bottom a first win for tmac11 (Polish) was not enough to move him off the bottom of the table. In Division E BobGanoush finished his matches with a seventh win setting closest challenger MadMaxBot (Byzantine) a target of 7 points from his last 2 matches against GeneralKostas (German) and Morat (Georgian). Nothing much to report in Division F other than a fifth win for telesien (Anglo-Danish), which takes him back into third place.
