Thank you very much for making such a great content free of charge! I never had the chance to try PzC1 Grand Campaign and I was considering trying it out after the '41 DLC.
It's great to be able to play it on the modern PzC2 engine!
I came here to commend you about the training campaign, I don't know if it's included in the base GC but I have to say it is no walk in the park. It's not a training, it's a bloodbath for my newly created core!
If the difficulty stays like this (much higher than the base game or the Axis Operation DLC!) it will be quite a challenge.
Just wanted to share some love. Please keep up the good work and have a nice day.
Thank you so much for the kind words! yes indeed this is more challenging than the original campaign of PzC1, and no the Prelude was Grondel's idea he's killing it with all kind of cool stuff stay tuned there's a lot more to come
Tried a lot finding a diff thats perfect for me, think i got it: Fieldmarshall - hero app. 50% - comb. randomness 25% - arrogance - bad logistics - one hero per unit - infantry gen. - tank gen. - liberator (i hate beeing forced to encircle all the time, that comp. it). Maybe i eliminate a pos trait or two if it becomes too easy, but at the moment i am fine.
The "strange" combat results have been simple experience problems. My core was just too unexperienced. Now it works as i remember it in pc1. Started the 5 th time now with your campaign, maybe this posting saves some time for others, with similar problems.

3 notes to start:
- add the name of the general in the briefing (custom name)
- display the name of the city of departure (TIMISOARA)
- unnecessary airport supply hex for aircraft deployment (next to Timisoara)

Is there a list of the stuff you can get for the commendation points?
I was mostly wondering about which heroes from the original would appear in this one. You obviously get offered some that didn't exist in the original, but what about someone like Oleh Dir?
I just played the Lodz scenario, and spend my CP on the Panzer III. That left me with no or hardly any CP, so did I miss out on Dir?
Great job with bringing back these campaigns by the way. So far basically everything has been well balanced with just the right amount of additional details added to it. Switching around the directions of the map did confuse me at times though. Suddenly some maps felt like I had never seen them before, until I looked at them from the "right" angle
The one mission that I felt was a bit out of line compared to the rest was the final training mission with the naval invasion. That was such a prestige drain for me. I actually had to go back and do things differently, because I only had one fighter and one fighter-bomber, plus some AA, and that simply didn't cut it, because I couldn't kill any planes, leaving me impossibly outnumbered. Problem was that with additional planes it got a bit tougher on the ground, especially once the enemy swarms you with plenty of infantry in the second stage. That one mission felt significantly harder than all the others.
good job, really challanging in GC39.
Some minor balancing topics, e.g. Warsaw with this really nasty recon car with strengh of 30???
Or the Oslo scenario in which the good idea with reinforcments of the english fighters is obsolet, if you do the job exactly like described in the briefing...
My favorites are Spoils of war and Narvik, really nice scenarios.
Was it intended in Lodz that the Polish forces try to make a real counter attack? I remember in the GC39 there only sit and wait
