Also, don't take it badly - I think I have said many times how much I appreciate your mod, exactly because it manages to make the game such a good simulation of WW1. I loved the previous version for example, with only a few small issues.
I just think that there is a glitch here.

Just to help comparison, I have tried this starting position in the East before, but I've never seen the Russian attack to be so ferocious. Active Russian corps knocking reserve units about, sure, but out of entrenched positions in cities like Quednau or Lemberg (the Quednau result was a 10 loss, if I recall well). It also looks to affect only the Russians: the French and Serbians look to be the usual strength for them.
The only thing I did different this time was to run the new (?) event on Austrians entrenching in Galicia (the one that takes the railroad capacity away).

There's something definitely very odd with my game, I wonder if my installation is at fault.
Started an Entente game. Played the British Warning to Germany event which as I understand stops Belgium yielding and also pretty much guarantees a British entry when Belgium is attacked. Two turns into the Belgian attack and Britain stills shows 10+ turns to entry. Game attached.

Had a very quick test and the Russians appear normal again (tough, but not superhuman). Thanks!

Wanted to say thanks for all the hard work you've put into this mod.
My game crashed this evening when the A.I was ending it's turn. The game crashed again when I went and reloaded the end turn save. The A.I did all of its normal movements and once the convoys were done moving the game just crashed. I've uploaded the log for you and let me know if you need the saved game and I'll be happy to provide it for you.

Robotron, thank you for fixing the script! All is well and I am on turn seventeen now.
Right now I’m playing the Schielffen Plan modified as the CP and had rather good luck with Russia taking seven turns to mobilize. Playing the Austrian Siege Howitzers event really helped in overrunning Belgium quickly. I managed to capture Ypes, Calais and Lille just as the Russians finally started a massive offensive on turn eight. I decided to defend against the Russians and keep on the offensive in the west and pushed all the way to Amiens before having to pull back to Calais as the A.I was wearing down my corps.
The Russian attack is now much more manageable then the previous version of the mod. I’m now on turn seventeen preparing a spring offensive on the Eastern Front and finally knocking Serbia out of the war.

I've been noticing while playing as the CP that the Entente A.I is being very reckless with navel units. I have a dreadnought stationed in Calais and the A.I keeps attacking it which has resulted in two light cruisers being sunk for little risk to me. The same thing has also happened in Danzig with a British submarine killing itself attacking the pre-dreadnought in harbor on a previous game the submarine attacked a light cruiser in the Konigsberg harbor meeting the same fate. Is there a way to fix it where the A.I doesn't attack ships in the harbor?

The AI and especially the naval AI is partially dysfunctional in many places because the original coder(s) abandoned the game before it was finished.
There's not much that can be done about it without first being able to completely reverse-engineer the complete AI, which would be a relatively thankless task without payment for an obsolete game. I've tried for 5 years to make this game better but I'm not that guy who can fix the AI, sorry.

Finished a game as the CP with the modified Schlieffen plan very enjoyable challenge. Need to get better with Turkey since the British finally drove them to surrender. One thing I came across and I don't know if it's fixable is when Russia finally surrendered one my army corps with Hindenburg attached was stuck behind the Russian lines and I couldn't detach Hindenburg since the corps wasn't at full strength.
Next game will be trying out the Entente.

Not sure if I've come across a bug or just a game variable I don't know about. While playing as the Entente Britain will not declare when Belgium is attacked even when playing the British warning to Germany event. The estimated turns till Britain enters the war always stays at 20+. The only time Britain did enter the war was when the CP AI got Belgium to allow CP units through.

both (ent and cp) games finished, but hoffman looks still inactive
