The name origin: The Qin dynasty（秦朝） was the first dynasty of Imperial China，lasting from 221 to 206 BC.

Bios:
1. wzfcns，has made mods and community battles for PS, Sengoku Jidai and FOG2. He is a player of JTS, Ageod games,TOAW and Decisive Campaigns.Made several scenarios  for TOAW. He is particularly Interested in ancient warfare and Chinese civil war.
2. TaBai,a SLG&RTS game enthusiast,and has an interest in military history.He used to be a member of an unknown StarCraft team ,but Nowadays prefers playing turn-based tactical games like FOG2,Mare Nostrvm,Lock 'n Load,Carrier Battles and so on.
3. GCD, is an unlucky and stupid commy. He once might become a scientific worker. But unfortunately, he was conscripted by Gary Grigsby and was sent to the East Front. He have to fight for Soviet for 20 years in many different space-times, such as WIR,WITE,PZC,KP,etc. One year ago, he was lost in the FOG and fought for many kings. Now, he is fighting for the king of QIN. In order to change his bad fortune, he is now developing a new game of East Front, which may be published in 2023. The name of his game is just like what every veteran in East Front thinks, “Berlin, is the only way home”.
4. w2512494748，a war gamer with an interest in military history,now spends more time playing board games and looks forward to playing against various player to improve his skills.

Bios:
1. cristianwj, have played wargames since 2008, before that he was a fan of flight simulator. During last decade, he has experienced many wargames from Matrixgames/Slitherine and etc, and dedicated to translate the manual into Chinese to help more people know how to play wargames. In recently, he has made several series of videos about wargames on Bilibili ("Youtube" alike in China).
2. freemankevin (Dillon), started contacting digital wargame more than ten years ago, used to be a moderator of a wargame forum. He love SSG and JTS, especially JTS. He is The American Civil War Gaming Club and Napoleonic Wargame Club member. For FOG2, he is a new player. He is obsessed with ancient history and likes to learn history with wargaming. He hopes to make friends in the world.

Steve, AKA pantherboy, is a hardened veteran of FOG2 having started play with the first iteration of the game. He favors combined arms with mobile forces that can assert control on most battlefields. He belongs to Japan's International Gamers Guild (JIGG) playing board games most weekends. He is looking forward to locking horns with players of all stripes and colors and learning some new tricks.

CheAhn (Nik) here. An on and off gamer with a lifelong interest in military history, particularly the ancient period. Started off with miniatures and WRG rules many moons ago, more than I can count, then progressed through the various iterations of DBM and FOG tabletop. Been playing FOG Digital since around 2010. A confirmed Romanophile - go Diocletian! - and proud member of team Terror Australis.

Najanaja (Robert) started out playing board games back in the AH, SPI era. Subsequently, he fell in with a group of disreputable miniatures players and moved to Ancients (WRG, DBX) and Colonials (TSATF). Nowadays Robert plays mostly FOG2 and BA online. FOG2 is a particular favourite, though somewhat ego-shattering at times. He now lives in genteel poverty as a retiree and plays jazz saxophone in bands around SE Queensland.

SpeedyCM (Shane), I began my wargaming and military history interest back in the early 80's when my brother came home one day bearing an interesting little game called Squad Leader. Living in a rural area the dearth of potential opponents led me to computer gaming which has been my staple since with classic SSG and SSI games from the late 80's, early 90's through to today where my most played game at the moment is FOG2. I'm looking forward to getting stuck in to this tournament.

We are all real life friends, we know each other for over 20 years now I think. We are all into war/gaming, and most of us started with Warhammer in the late '90s. I'm not counting D&D and computer games, because then we are speaking about early '80s . We all mostly play other games on a more regular basis, but are willing to have a team in FoG WTC also . A little bit more about each one of us:

miljanotovic - He's the fit guy in the team . Does a lot of miniatures painting (commission as well). Was part of our 40k ETC team, usually as champion. Usually has uncommon approach to list building and tactics.
Alkibijad - He's that guy that comes to all of your games, but never collects anything. Has tons of miniatures, yet no army . Hopefully, we will finally push him to create his first army this year .
DzonVejn - I'm joggy011's younger brother. Having a lot older brother helps you start very early with the games . I'm also running board/war/gaming club in Belgrade. Was part of 40k ETC team.
joggy011 - I think that Steam should give him some percentage of the company . He probably played (and owns) the most computer games compared to other team members, and spends all of his time in gaming. Was part of 40k ETC and T9A ETC teams.

Since our German member rth (Ralf) came with the idea of the emblem, in his honour I will post his brief explanation in German.



Kleiner Hintergrund zum Emblem (Wolf)
wegen vieler Kriege haben eine große Gruppen Menschen (meist Militär) die Innere Sphäre (unsere Welt) verlassen und bildeten, als sie neue Planeten besiedelten, 20 Clans (Wölfe, Jadefalken Geisterbären und so weiter)

Small background to the emblem (wolf)
Because of many wars, a large group of people (mostly military) left the Inner Sphere (our world) and, when they colonized new planets, formed 20 clans (wolves, jade falcons, ghost bears and so on)

nach ca 300 Jahren schickte Clan Wolf eine Spezial- Einheit (Wolfs-Dragoner) in die Innere Sphäre zurück, mit dem Auftrag: für jedes
und gegen jedes Herrscherhaus auf der alten Welt zu kämpfen ... wem das Wort "Söldner" nicht stört: die Wolfs Dragoner waren die besten Krieger/Einheit (fiktiv) die es je gab.

After about 300 years, Clan Wolf sent a special unit (Wolfs-Dragoons) back to the Inner Sphere with the mission: for everyone
and to fight against every ruling house in the old world ... if you don't mind the word "mercenary": the Wolfs Dragoons were the best warriors / unit (fictional) that ever existed.

Bios:

msaunders865: "I've been playing board games since 1959 - Avalon Hill Gettysburg and Tactics II were my first games (age 11). Started the General Staff Club in Toronto in 1973. Been playing countless games and miniatures ever since."

w_michael: "I have played war games for most of my life, starting with Avalon Hill's board game Blitzkrieg in 1964, adapting to Apple II computer games with Strategic Studies Group's Reach for the Stars in 1985, and later tabletop miniatures gaming."

DanZanzibar: "Besides getting a few pals into Axis and Allies I never had good friends who were interested in table top wargames. When I found FOG2 last year I was finally able to scratch that itch and have enjoyed it a lot. I am also a nut for working on my tennis game."

OmegaOm: "I am 50 years old, a shed builder, and I did use a hammer for the whole shed. I refused to use a nail gun." After all, we're not called Nail Guns of the North.

The Armchair Heroes (UK Team 2)



Virtutis et consolatio

A brave group of British generals who see no need to be uncomfortable whilst carrying out their
feats of daring-do. We are all keen students of history, and we look forward to meeting opponents,
from other countries, and crushing their armies beneath our slippered feet.

Period 1: ericdoman1: Has been wargaming, on and off, for over 40 years. He started with,
knocking down 54 MM WWII Airfix figures, with marbles, in his lounge, with his dad. He then
progressed through various Ancient tabletop games, including WRG 5th to 7th ed, DBM and FOG I.
Now he spends his time on digital versions of FOG I and II.

Period 2: lydianed: The fresh-faced young lad of the team. He has not even lived 5 decades yet! A
long-time tabletop role player and wargamer. He runs exhibition games at wargames conventions
and is prepared to dress for the part! A veteran of the Digital league.

Period 3: Stew101: An old campaigner and veteran of many types of games. He can battle on any
terrain, including, tabletops, computers, or muddy fields. FOG II is now another of his bad habits. His
engineering background should see him able to construct a solid plan and do maths properly.
A self-confessed Grognard of the highest order.

Period 4: Captainwaltersavage: The captain of the team (It seemed easier that way). He has only
been playing FOG 2 for a short time and is the least experienced member of the team. He has,
however, played tabletop wargames, boardgames, and computer strategy games, of all sorts, for
more than 4 decades. He has also spent considerable time on re-enactment and LARP battlefields,
trying to command individuals, units and, sometimes, armies. He hopes some of the skills are
transferrable.

Reserve: carpenkm: A strong player in his own right, he is hoping one of the other team members
falls over, during the campaign. He is itching for a good scrap; another engineer and veteran (old)
gamer. He started with plastic airfix soldiers on the dining room table and plays the same way now.
‘Never give up - never surrender’ is his personal motto. He'll rally a couple of camp followers and
charge your pikes. And if it looks like he's losing, he might just trip up and knock the table over*. He
likes hitting small balls as hard as he can, in a vain attempt to get them into small holes in the
ground.

*As team Captain I have given the team clear instructions that there is to be no kicking opponents
under the table, and no spilling of their tea.
