Panzer Corps 2 World Championship Tournament - Important Notice

The upcoming Panzer Corps 2 World Championships will start on September 15th (and not on September 1st as previously announced).

The good news is that you still have plenty of time to join us and to enjoy the tournament’s features:

- Each round will last 21 days, with 7 days of break until the next round, for a total of 12 rounds.
- There will be an expansion to the roster of available MP maps.
- We will continue to review and may adjust the scoring system to ensure fairness.

We want to remind you that everyone who owns Panzer Corps 2 is eligible to join. Players just need to either log in with their Slitherine account, or create a new Slitherine account (once again, entirely free) and click “Join” under the World Championship icon in the Tournaments page on our website.

hi why the delay in start date to the tournament looking forward to this event like many other players. Also i have a suggestion to help with coordinating game time between opponents in the tournament. Is it possible to show players home country , city alongside players name to indicate there time zone to opponents cheers cant wait for the championships to start

Thanks for telling, I´m sure a lot people are looking forward too this event!!!
And it sound that you have prepared some nice maps too!!!

Anyway such a big event is not even planed in days,...and i think its better to start with a delay, but with a bigger fun and even fairness in giving the points!!!

And i need to say,... thanks to that delay i´ll have time to spend some days on the beach!!!

Can some of you guys test this out on your machines? Its concerning with the Tournament coming up.

This is what happened:

I was playing bobi_kg on the Iron Cross, Red Star II map (in Steam) and was most of the way through a rough turn, I was chatting on the side and needed to get a screenshot of the "L display" for a friend. I pressed L ... fatal error, game crashed.

I got back into the game and went to my multi-player games...the bobi_kg game still had "play" active as an option. The match opened up and began as if I had never seen all that I had seen or made all the mistakes I had made. I was able to replay my turn entirely.

I tested it in my next game. Same thing. Knowing about this "glitch" would give someone a huge advantage playing multi-player games and of course in the upcoming tournament where they could replay their turn as many times as they'd like until they were satisfied with the results. If it's a universal glitch and cannot be fixed before the tournament then everyone should have knowledge of it rather than the possibility that a couple know about it and could choose to use it to gain an unfair advantage.

Can someone please remove me from the tournament. I'm not going to be able to play now. The tournament page only has join where it should say leave and any time I select join it says I'm already joined.

Hello there!!!

Slowly the countdown is running out!!!
And I'm looking forward to it, like all the others!!!
I hope that we get some more information about before it starts?
Would be nice knowing about the point-system and what is really important, for not wasting time and troops buy destroying all enemies or conquer all objectives?

But I'm sure you'll give us that...
