Just seen the 3 day rule on posting results - I lost these on the 30th Oct.

Well played by Fireknight and good force choice, deployment and use of terrain broke both my armies. A very good player who will no doubt be in the higher leagues soon. Thanks for the tough games. (BTW the results might be wrong way as all I can see is Chinese A - B so if it matters 62-40 was B-A and the 54-29 was A-B).

The score blew up at the end when most of the gothic line finally broke under the continuous pressure

lunecastle - Anglo-Saxon 600-870 AD with Welsh 600-1049 AD allies draws with IMC - Viking (Ireland) 900-1049 AD with Scots 851-1051 AD allies 45-43

Lots of movement for the first 14 turns as the Anglo Saxons left the hill forts the terrain generator had kindly given them. The Vikings formed two lines, one at ninety degrees to the other, one protected by rough and trees at one end. The Anglo Saxons met them, and an enormous 1600 point EMA hack and slash battle ensued which lasted until nightfall. Honours even. A great game thanks to IMC, neither of us sat on hills but went for it.

lunecastle - Anglo-Saxon 600-870 AD with Welsh 600-1049 AD allies beats Nijis - Armenian 885-1045 AD with Byzantine 963-987 AD allies 60-38

Not good terrain for the Armenians, great for the Welsh and LF. A deep stream across the middle and some rough at one end. The Byzantine foot stood proudly, until eventually the Welsh got round a flank or two. Not a battleground for Cavalry, but Nijis did well with them anyway. Pleasant and friendly banter with Nijis added to the enjoyment. All the best, lunecastle.

edb1815 (Aragonese w/ Castilian ally) defeats Garokan (Portuguese w/Berber ally) 60-38

GG to Garokan. He had several knightly charges that ripped through the Aragonese center chain routing units. Unit of the match goes to one of his Berber LH units holding out for 3-4 turns fragged and surrounded. I think in the end the greater numbers of the Aragonese force prevailed in the end. Well played.
