Just to give an update. We are finishing the final testing of GC1943 and it should be ready soon.
Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)

Looking forward to try it

Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
Hi again - I have just finished your Prelude GC 1939, But I wonder why I have to start a new game to continue the GC 1939 and choose my traits again - do I have to do that evrytime wnen I start in 1940, 1941 etc?
Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
Yes you do. Like Axis Operations DLC's that you buy with the Panzer Corps 2 they are linked campaigns and not like the main campaign that is contiguous.
Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
ok - but some how I have manage to continue the AO DLC's as a linked campaign without starting from scratch with my commander at evry single AO DLC.
So thought it was the same here lol - but you have made a greate work.

Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
I am not following what you cannot do. You get to keep your commander and import your core from the previous campaign if you want. They only thing that changes is you can select new traits and change difficulty settings if you like. Plays exactly like Axis Operations. Are you able to import your core from the previous campaign?
Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
yep no problem with imports - so evrything is ok there.
Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
The latest addition to our mod for Panzer Corps 1 Grand Campaign 1941-1945 has been posted on the site. Grand Campaign 1943. This is V 2.10 and link is on the first post of the thread.
Some of the features of GC1943 are somewhat larger maps than the original Panzer Corps 1, promote a hero, opportunity for the bonus scenario Kursk Armory, AI will get a random positive player trait if they move first and of course chance to spend commendation points. The campaign has been play tested but as always we could have missed something so please post any irregularities or just questions that you might have. Thanks to everyone for playing our mod !!

Hi,
I get a crash on the first mission near the end (save & crash report attached). Can you check if this is related to the mod or a general problem with the game?
Thanks for this great mod btw.
Edit: Somehow I cannot attach files, so here it is: https://mega.nz/file/DsgTxAaB#HMcaHX_fz ... 5xwMcKAzac
To reproduce just end the turn

Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
Hehe, yes.
I started on General but quickly realized, that the balancing is a bit harder in the mod and that its too much for me. So I restarted on easiest and before I knew it I was swimming in prestige ...

Thank you for this excelent work, playing these campaigns in PC2 makes much fun and it seems to me sometimes that this mod is better than the AOstpoo wrote: ↑Wed Nov 10, 2021 3:51 pm The latest addition to our mod for Panzer Corps 1 Grand Campaign 1941-1945 has been posted on the site. But one question: will you bring up the west campaigns (42-43, 44 +45) too? They were my favorites in PC1 and I played them several times (more than the east-campaigns)

Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
Thanks for your post. It does crash as indicated in your saved game but I have not experienced anything like this in testing. I just replayed the 1st scenario of the campaign and this crash did not occur. So I do not know if it is related to the game engine or not. Nothing happens on that turn in scripting. The game does still have random game crashes from what i have seen. I guess you could start over and see if it happens again or console cheat to end the scenario before the crash since you have all the objectives at that point. Interesting to see if others will experience this or not. I thought the patch might be an issue with mods but I ran the whole campaign again after the patch to make sure there were no anomalies. I guess nothing is fool proof even when you have proof.terminator wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 9:37 amThe game crash at this time :Nexus wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 9:10 am Hi,

Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
We will continue the series in the West after we finish with the East. I have maps for 1942-1943 West already done and the Africa Corps will also be able to continue in the 1943 half of that campaign. The issue with doing that now is there are so many game scripting needs that need to be revealed so the objectives that were part of the original can be duplicated or simulated. For instance there are no extractions zones yet or ways to take units out of your core that I know of.NautiLaus wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 12:54 pmThank you for this excelent work, playing these campaigns in PC2 makes much fun and it seems to me sometimes that this mod is better than the AOstpoo wrote: ↑Wed Nov 10, 2021 3:51 pm The latest addition to our mod for Panzer Corps 1 Grand Campaign 1941-1945 has been posted on the site. Re: Grand Campaign 1939-1945 (Custom Campaign)
I have the Steam Version and have up to 42 installed and running. I have downloaded 43 from the link but can't for the life of me figure out where it's supposed to go. None of the folders listed are in any of my folders. I can't even locate where the previous years are installed. Any thoughts? Thank you!
