Since the Artistocrats are moderators here and they haven´t commented I must assume my assumption is correct.

The humble (but good-looking) moderators are not affiliated with the Artistocrats, Bru and I are just two players/custom scenario designers.
None of the Artistocrat devs have posted anything here in a long time.

There should no longer be a specific development team for this game but independent coders that fix bugs and make small changes...

Unless they want to develop it further like its main competitor Panzer Corps...

Hopefully the outstanding bugs in the older dlcs (as per the bugs forum) will be fixes before they call it quits.

Like I said, with the other game I was modding years ago... quality modding could rise any game to heights, even to literal immortality. Look at old he games, still being played no matter the graphics.

Once I've finished preparations, and stuff IRL, I can tell more.

I would definitely won't be happy to see this game decline or worse. All is about cooperation.. all of us.

I would love to see that, and more to take part in it. Albeit the best would be to cooperate with the original coder(s). To rework someone else's code is a pain in the A, a capital one.

I totally concur! I think we could keep this going indefinitely even without the Artistocrats. Maybe... but we should try.
I'm not convinced they're leaving anyway. But it's up to us to improve the fun quotient where we can.

I would pay a lot for a functional sandbox game with semi-random terrain and historically constrained, point based forces on each side.

erm, any news about the final installation of the Allies trilogy?
it would be a fitting end to the wonderful series of OBB WW2.
please, please launch the final installation before calling it a day....

it should be titled Allies Triumphant right?

None that I´ve heard, and this lack of information both in regards to the future of the game and the next (and probably final) dlc is disrespectful to the many loyal fans of the game.

Well for better or worse this has always been the case with the developer to my knowledge. So guess we just gotta wait and hope for the best. Honestly I'd be okay with this upcoming DLC being the last DLC for the game as it certainly has been fleshed out plenty so long as it concludes the Allied story fully.
