The armies met on a wide flat plain. The andalusian infantry, no match for the long spears and highlanders of albion, turned tail and ran while the Andalusian cavalry swarmed the wings. The cavalry was able to pick off some english archers and isolated spearmen, then spent the better part of the battle running around trying not to get crushed by the English knights. Mobility won out in the end, but had the battle continued, the Andalusians had little hope of beating the remaining, heavily armored English core.

Very good game, when my opponent wheeled to my left flank I went for broke and attacked before he could get in position and took an early lead. However, things evened up as my opponents superior quality army took their toll. I prevailed in the end through a bit of luck and my opponents elephant not really making an impact. Still could have gone either way for several turns until near the end.

Hardly a victory - the amount of arrows and mobility crushed my flanks but I was able to recover with the heroic Elite Spears while the arrows run out on my opponents side. In the end it was a lucky game as I catched some of his riders. Almost a draw. Good Game from Slancaster
