Dreddradish Anglo Saxon (600-870AD) defeats Delbruck Dailami (928-1055) with Arab Syria/Iraq (890-1008) allies; 45 - 19

The Bedouin lancers did manage to force the Saxon spears into several charges and the Dailami impact foot got some results but Saxon cohesion held denying any breakthrough. The lancers were eventually pinned and the Dailami outflanked thanks to those good CTs.

The Rus sent out a large number of cavalry to set up on either flank, but were just about restrained by the Indian elephants. The Indian cavalry gained the upper hand on the right flank while the elephants broke through the enemy on the left flank and central front.

A stream dividing an otherwise fairly flat battlefield proved a major obstacle for Hungarian all cavalry army. The battle scattered into a series of small engagements where Danish numbers decided the outcome.

Delbruck (Ptolemaic) defeated Holien (Carthaginian) 61-55.
In an epic bloodbath each left flank of the opposing armies defeated the enemy right. The Ptolemaics lost most of their cavalry and light troops and the Carthaginians lost more heavy troops. This imbalance gave the edge to the Ptolemaics.

The usual affair, a massive bloody hill, a scramble to the top and lots of attacking up and down slopes. I commend the enemy Commissars whose effectiveness gave me an ongoing headache.

Just as close as the scoreline suggests. Some terrible shooting rolls gave my foe the early advantage who used the central rough terrain to safely advance his foot protected from my knights. The main factor that turned things around was the death of fox's general triggering a mass disrupt giving my knights some breathing space to trap and bring his eastern cavalry to close quarters. Well-played, could have gone either way even into the final turn.

The co-religionists met in the desert with a patch of rough on one side. The Revolt right flank of zealots was able to break through Stew101's roman legionaries and thureophoroi, while Stew101's right crushed my left in the rough. Ultimately, the numerous zealots were too much to overcome, along with some heroically long stands by irregular foot that held up superior forces for much longer than they had any right to.
